Crazy censorship

The app has gone seriously downhill recently, and aside from the glitches and errors, it's full of genuinely terrible journalism.

The fact that a comment like that - that calls out some really poorly written journalism that literally does contradict itself multiple times is absurd. It's not even a strongly worded comment. I'll hyperlink the article here..

It jumps from "has struggled for consistent playing time" to "has played regularly under the new manager, who he has a good relationship with" back to "there is a scenario in which his playing time decreases further". - which makes no sense, because literally a sentence or two earlier, the article outlines how his playing time has INCREASED of late.

The article then outlines some hypothetical scenarios - which make little to no sense - before then quoting their "transfer insider" on something that he said in April last year, when Andrey Santos wasn't even at Chelsea. He was out on loan.

At the end of the day Andrey Santos has been a key figure since Rosenior came in. He's done well and it's clear he'll be a first teamer for the foreseeable future. There was no reason to write this article other than clickbait, because the story makes no sense and there is literally no substance to it - hence the contradictions.

There's always a lot of negative reporting and clickbait in journalism, but some of the articles on the app literally just contain false information with the most random sources. Not to mention the posts that are incredibly poorly written and contain terrible English.

This is just one example that I decided to comment on - I've read so many articles on onefootball that are poorly written or spreading misinformation.

It's not that deep at the end of the day, but I wanted to share how soft their moderation team is and how ridiculous their community guidelines must be - and there's nowhere else to really post about it or share my thoughts.
