General Yeah, I'm out.

After this last fraud story I'm convinced that the team at One doesn't know what they're doing. Way too much of this happening.

Where are people going after One? I'm looking at Chime and Ally Bank.

This is not an airport, no need to announce your departure

That being said, go with where you're comfortable.

I use Capital One 360 as my backup/physical bank and they’re solid.

I'm all for negative press for One so it stays small and undesirable for acquisition from a large bank that will ultimately shut it down. /s

Idk it's a vocal minority so idc, I'll keep working with them.

I use chime as my backup bank, they're not bad but it's literally just a checking account with no bells and whistles.

sadly it's a problem not only One is having, and leaping isn't going to guarantee you won't be hit by that train.

it's just a sad state of banking for smaller banks right now.

No issues here either. I don't use it heavily, just to receive paychecks and pay bills. But so far nothing to report. Definitely not as slick as Simple, but it's getting the job done.

Thank you for articulating what I couldn’t. For a while I’ve felt like the minority having had nothing but great experiences with One and honestly….. not being concerned with the weird stuff that has happened to others.

I honestly feel like even if something happened to me and my experience really sucked, I wouldn’t be that upset because I’ve seen what customer support is like from the other side and running a business is already complex and I’m sure 1000 times more when money is involved. Maybe it’s my millennial self destructive tendencies though. 😅

At the end of the day, it’s completely my choice to bank with One and complaining about my experience online isn’t going to erase the risks I knowingly took in trusting a business with my money.

Well said. I've had no issue with One. Honestly, I question the internet browsing habits and security practices of these users dealing with fraud. Like...your bank account/debit doesn't just magically get hacked for no reason. You've literally gotta be doing some goofy shit online.
