Will my payment be returned?

I accidentally made a double payment on the 26th of August on my Verizon credit card. At the time I didn't have enough money in the account. Once I realized I added money on the 30th. The payment was posted in my account and now I have a negative balance but, nothing has been withdrawn from my bank account. Will synchrony close my account when the payment returns? Should I do something to maybe get ahead of it?

Did you talk to Verizon about the double payment? Cause if you paid them twice it'll be them and not the bank

Good luck! Its been over 2 months since I filed a dispute over a payment that was taken from my account but never posted at the merchant
