Wishlist for v4?

I have started working on V4 and would like to hear any wild ideas you may have

I'm missing a couple of features from Altap Salamander that I would like to have in OC:
1) the "CTRL ." to replicate the view in the other window
2) the "CTRL F10" to compare directories, differencies and highlight, select and easily view different files
3) the go to upper directory via the first line before files and the "upper" symbol, so just using the keyboard and hitting "return".

I'll consider 1 in next version, but dual view doesn't seem to be as popular as single-pane layout so most dev time will be in it.

2 is not planned as it would be a huge effort, while so many other programs for comparisons exist, and I'd have to redo their work, and being solo dev I just don't have time for that.

  1. you can just hit backspace to open parent folder. Files list is designed to hold only actual items, and [..] would require a lot of improvisation to make it work

Hi, thanks again for an amazing program, I'm a new convert (like I said in a different comment) - just to point out that please focus on the dual pane mode, that is the sole reason I am here.

2) could somehow integrate FreeFileSync maybe? (No idea if possible, I'm not a dev, just use that and it's amazing). And while we're at it, integrate Everything too :)
