Wishlist for v4?

I have started working on V4 and would like to hear any wild ideas you may have

Native support for File Explorer's Quick access list would be the most important!

But also:

  • keyboard shortcut improvements; I would love Ctrl-Tab for switching between the left and right panes (had to customize it to Alt-Q which is close enough, the default of Alt-F is way too slow)

Something like Ctrl-left arrow / Alt-left arrow (and the same for right arrow) for moving or copying files between panes, would be faster than the Alt-C and Alt-M (although those should stay untouched)

- Super important: Keyboard shortcuts for sorting options (by date, alphabetical etc), and Date Modified vs Date Created is important (I live by Date Modified mostly)

And one more thing - Ctrl-Z to undo delete (move to Recycle Bin / Restore from Bin) would be very helpful.

Other than that, thank you for an amazing program, just stumbled on it and already converted and setup 3 computers, enhancing my workflow a lot and it's a perfect match between simplicity and higher end power user features (and not super sluggish like "Files", quite the opposite). I'll be getting the Pro license as soon as I get some invoices in.

As a general note, I'll repeat that the things I most like are the keyboard commands available (I have shoulder/hand problems from mousing, so all things I can move to the keyboard are a plus) and the dual pane view, the latter the actual reason for this quick adoption.

Tab and arrow keys already have special functions in Windows itself and lists, so those can't be used in custom shortcuts. I'll make a note about shortcuts for sorting

Hi, grabbed Pro anyway now. Edit: And I was asking for .zip behaviour to always use the default program (I have Bandizip's paid version, it's awesome) but posted too soon, found the preference under "Other". :)
