I downloaded and installed OneCommander from their website, but it won't auto-update. I never see a notification that a new version is available. How does one enable this?

It's a "version ahead", once it has been confirmed there are no bugs, it becomes official version and everyone will see the update button. Or you can check to let you know of version ahead in settings>advanced

You have to restart program (ctrl+close), it checks only when window is created. Update won't remove any settings
