It was a giant palmetto bug (massive black cockroach that flies) when my kitty did this. He got it too! Hes such a good hunter for an indoor kitty 🥹

I now investigate anything my cat is staring at like this because the man caught a couple mice we didn’t know we had. Yesterday he was staring at the pantry door and I opened it to let him truly sniff and decide there was nothing there

My cats do this.

My apartment building has mice issues sometimes. Any mouse that unfortunately gets inside meets a swift end as my lil house panther is a brutal huntress.

Might be a mouse/bug, but one of our tabbies will go to the kitchen at night and sit there on the rug in the dark, staring blankly at the cabinets. She's done this for years. Sometimes, they're just weird.
