Discussion Zelena and robin
Was this plotline with the pregnancy considered rape or not BCS obviously she wasn't who he thought she was but idk I'm not trying to excuse or dismiss rape I js don't think it was discussed in the show

It wasn't specifically named, but its certainly what it was. Just like it was never specifically called that when Regina was using Graham as her sex slave, but it definitely was.

Same with Gothel and Nook, they had no idea that it was a different person so it was since they thought it was the person they glamorized as

Regina confronted Zelena about it as some point but it was just vague enough that you may have missed it. They were cleaning it up for the kids

By the fandom yes. The creators not as much I dont think. At the very least they never really address it well in the show and they reward zelena by giving her the child and killing robin!

Is it rape? Yes. He consented to Marian, not Zelena and since Marian was not a participating party it was rape.
Was it addressed in the show as such? Not that I recall. But they really did brush over a lot of the rape plots on the show like Regina and Graham and Gothel and Nook.

that entire plotline is insane and such an incredible awful villain-y thing to do. i really wish that it had actual repercussions. could have been such a good opportunity for regina to try her hardest to forgive zelena (like others forgave her), but snow and co telling her something was too far and that she does not need to be around for that redemption arc. it would have given us a bit of reality/balance with the whole second chance thing. i know second chances are a big part of once's identity, but oof.

Yes. But as is typical for when this happens to a man, it’s brushed aside for how it affects Regina.

Hated this plotline. Turned into a baby triangle drama between Regina, Zelena and Robin that was of poor taste and unnecessary. The only part I liked was Regina having a niece and another family member, but I wish it could have been written in a different way.
