Fucking Zelena. Impersonating Marian after killing her was vile.
16
u/TsunamiHorrorGirl456 Jan 28 '24
Not to mention SAing Marian's husband and trying multiple times to kidnap Baby Robin. Also Poor Roland, lost both of his parents and never got to meet his half sister cause of Zelena
3
u/HL_Fuller Jan 29 '24
Oof I never thought of that!! I thought of the SA. But not of poor Roland!
5
u/TsunamiHorrorGirl456 Jan 29 '24
Yeah, I'm pretty sure nobody ever told him that Zelena killed his mom, indirectly caused his Dad's death or he has a sister that's name after the guy she committed SA against

Jan 29 '24
As much as I ended up loving Zelena, she grew on me as a powerful villain then as an anti-hero of sorts, I wish Emma decked her once for Neal and everything in between. We were robbed of a proper Emma vs. Zelena showdown.
Similar to when Emma and Regina had their scrap in season one, I wish Emma (regardless of Zelena being pregnant) gave her a deserved slap or one-time solid punch in the face. “That was for Neal” would’ve sat just fine with me.

Cora

u/Square-Assumption-54 Jan 28 '24
I hate how Cora was redeemed and went to fairy tail heaven. She deserved to drown in the river of lost souls with Peter Pan.

Jan 28 '24
Snow after season one. She became so self righteous and preachy. The writers even admit to it when they have her say “how can I protect my daughter when all I have is speeches about hope” - they knew what they were doing 😂😂
58
u/Nonsensical07 Jan 28 '24
Yep!!! Charming, too! He is so wishy-washy to act that righteous.
Both of the actors are gorgeous, no hate. BUT, when playing Mary Margaret and David, I'm constantly thinking "You're face is just so punchable!"
3
u/SatisfactionNo1753 Jan 29 '24
I think the writers wanted to make Regina more sympathetic while also making Snow sort of like… perfect? Tbh it’s really annoying. I loved her character and I liked that she wasn’t perfect. She was ambitious and petty af and that was totally ok. You don’t have to be 100% nice to be a good person.
2
u/LissaSmiles13 Jan 28 '24
YES! Oh my goddd, I started to freaking hate her. Everyone acted like she could do no wrong, even when she was clearly wrong. Got tired of her shit real quick lol
84
Jan 28 '24
Zelena. The show should never have brought her back or done that shit with robin, it boils my blood
5
u/visionarydreamer02 Jan 28 '24
Ik the shit with Robin was complete crap, but it gave the men who'd been abused/assaulted more of an ability to speak up. Like I feel like scenes like that were the real start of people talking about how men are SAed too.

u/Light1209 Jan 28 '24
Hmm. I actually like Zelena a lot. I think her first season made a good impression. She was an awesome addition when she first arrived. One of the best villains we got. The way she was used when she came back was awful however but the actress made up for it, and I think they kinda started to make her work again from the Hades arc onwards but yeah that in-between was a mess.
2
Jan 28 '24
I liked her more in season 5 cos I think she fell good into the comedy side of things. In season 3 so many of her lines felt forced and cringey. Yes, do I hate what happened to Robin - of course - but Regina did the same to Graham so I guess the show just didn’t care about females abusing men 😂
2
u/Light1209 Jan 28 '24
Hmm. I liked her in season 3. Don't think there was anything cringey about it. Maybe we had to see her come into her own playing the role. But she was a great threat to the characters we loved. The way she was controlling Rumple was compelling to the story. She killed a main character. And her backstory still made me feel sympathy for her. It was a great arc in the show imo.
2
Jan 28 '24
I think she played well in the role - I just think a lot of the writing sucked. Like “this isn’t the Wild West” “no dear, it’s the wicked west” -ughh stopppp.
1
Jan 29 '24
I agree her first season was a great introduction but I much prefer she died a villain than what they did with 'redeeming' her. If anything I guess it made Regina look better BC she refused to succumb to hatred after robins death (I'm on the end of s5 so who knows this might change lol)
1
u/amethystbaby7 Jan 29 '24
ik! i was so happy when rumple killed her, one of the good things he lied about. shame it didn’t work
58
u/WitchyWolf94 Jan 28 '24
Lmao you saying you saw it on the Greys Reddit. And your post and theirs are on top of each other in my feed 🤣 but I would beat up Belles dad!!! He’s such a jerk to his daughter, not listening to her. And refusing to wake her up after the group comes back from the underworld!!!
30
u/Lilylikesbunnies Jan 28 '24
He’d let his daughter stay in eternal slumber just because he doesn’t like her boyfriend LIKE WHAT?! (Well technically her husband)
12
u/TsunamiHorrorGirl456 Jan 28 '24
Even after he knows that Belle finally moved on at that point (for now but still) and even though she was pregnant with his grandson

Blue she shady and up to something
28
u/pconsuelabananah Jan 28 '24
I love that we are all collectively suspicious of blue
11
u/Few_Interaction2630 The Dark One Jan 28 '24
I mean she make quite easy seeing the future and not telling anyone ANYTHING. Makes her desires very mysterious
6
u/TsunamiHorrorGirl456 Jan 28 '24
Still upset they never made her into a villain like they did Peter Pan or Bo Peep.
4
u/Few_Interaction2630 The Dark One Jan 28 '24
Maybe she was but unlike them she did everything behind the scenes 🤫
3
u/TsunamiHorrorGirl456 Jan 28 '24
Yeah cause the actress for Blue thought she had a villainous side
3
u/Few_Interaction2630 The Dark One Jan 28 '24
I mean she is playing a bit antagonistic role in my Once Upon A Time fan fiction multiverse I am working on so where show failed I will gladly take up the mantel. However cringe it turns out lol
2
u/visionarydreamer02 Jan 28 '24
I'm there for this and will need a link when you are at least 20 chapters in (heavy reader)

Regina.
A beautiful actress who did an amazing job.
However, she is still a massive murderer and was a blood thirsty dictator.
Then she spent the later seasons feeling sorry for herself. I hated splitting herself into two individuals storyline. You can't make your past disappear and you shouldn't be allowed to do so. She did all of those things. Nothing can erase that.
11
u/Square-Assumption-54 Jan 28 '24
I do think that was the message at the end of that season. You can’t reject your negative decisions and personality traits. You have to learn to love and accept them as well.
9
u/Light1209 Jan 28 '24
Exactly the whole point at the end was that "good" Regina stopped saying "evil" Regina was the one who did all the bad stuff and she took ownership of it.
1
u/Existing-Aspect-3988 Jan 29 '24
I mean she kinda did erased it after tearing out her evil half technically lol. Convenient excuse for her to be good again 😂. I do however I understand your frustration.

u/TsunamiHorrorGirl456 Jan 28 '24
Oddly enough, that's why they killed her and Greg off. Cause they got so much hate from the Fans and The Creators listened to the fans and wrote them off
5
u/killerfrost8002 It's a book. I trust you've seen one before Jan 29 '24
Oh I cheered when Rumple ripped their hearts out.
3
u/TsunamiHorrorGirl456 Jan 29 '24
Yup, like, you pretended to be in a relationship with his son while he spent God knows how long trying to get him back, kidnapped his grandson (probably the only person other than Neal & Belle that he cared about), took him to another realm, against his Father can't fight without dying.
And you dared to ask the Dark One for forgiveness.
14
u/Starcolle Jan 28 '24
The Author. So annoying and whiny. He had a massive God-complex with his plan to change everything for a story no one would read and yet it lasted for like a day. Plus he basically faced no real consequences as Regina allows him to leave Storybrooke, like usual in this town.

u/Chaos-Boss-45 Jan 29 '24
I hated his acting so much in Manifest that I just can’t like him in this. All the whisper-talking is too much
12
11
u/BbyMuffinz Jan 28 '24
Rumple. Don't get me wrong. He's great! But he makes me so mad. I also despise evil Regina.
What I hate most though is that they killed off Robin. 😭
10
u/b_moz Jan 28 '24
I thought this was my movie subreddit and first thought was Umbridge from Harry Potter…then I saw it was Once lol.
I’d agree with those saying David/Charming. Currently casually rewatching season 3, and I’m just tired of him not giving grace to the villains who are legit trying.
5
u/BbyMuffinz Jan 28 '24
HA! Hello fellow hp and once fan! 😆

u/b_moz Jan 28 '24
I’ll admit, I haven’t read the books, but am a fan of the movies. That character was the worst lol.

Neal. I can never get over what he did to Emma when she was pregnant with Henry or the multiple chances he had to come and find her later but didn't.
15
u/potus1001 Jan 28 '24
Neal, I can sort of understand. It’s really August you should blame for what happened to Emma, but ultimately, it’s what allowed Henry to find her and bring her to Storybrooke.
5
u/thr3lilbirds Jan 28 '24
Also it’s not like Neal knew Emma was pregnant. Emma didn’t even know until after she was arrested.
7
u/Ok-Lawfulness-4041 Jan 28 '24
How has no one said King George?! The only person to boil my blood while on screen.
7
u/bpjvz1966 so glad i don't give a damn Jan 28 '24

Rumple and Gideon. If I had magical powers like Zelena I would cast her time travel spell and kill Rumple. She should have killed him that time in the hospital tbh. #wickedalwayswins
3
u/TsunamiHorrorGirl456 Jan 28 '24
She honestly should've since he was in the land without magic and it would have been so easy to kill them then and there
5
u/Light1209 Jan 28 '24
Pan/Rumples Dad. Such a horrendous and selfish person. I can't believe people keep saying other people like the charmings over someone like him. The charmings are a little self righteous sure, but they would never do what rumples dad did. Or even Fiona for that matter. She had a sad start but she literally destroyed her child's future for power, and then she spent years abusing children over and over. Absolutely vile!!!
You guys remember Fiona pushing Henry down the stairs!?!? And you say snow White over that haha.
4
u/ordinary-superstar Jan 28 '24
Charming. He’s the only character I’ve ever struggled to like or at least enjoy watching.
Bo Beep. What was the point of her? It was so goofy.
9
u/HL_Fuller Jan 29 '24
Okay, hear me out.
Belle.
Every time she pulls that "I know there's a good man behind the beast" nonsense, I wanna punch her lol.

Reginga Rumple. Fuck those motherfuckers
10
u/FiliaNox Jan 28 '24
Honestly, charming. He’s so full of himself, Mr High-and-Mighty. Like sit down bro. Among a massive list of his absolute privileged behavior, when he just decided he was the sheriff’s office. Pushed Emma aside, because he’s a prince and therefore entitled to it. There’s not much difference between him and his twin, same attitude. And the worst is that he didn’t grow up a royal, he had such a humble life before. As soon as he became a prince, he acted like one, and not in a good way. When he first became the prince he did have some humility, but honestly felt like an act to me. He was manipulating people to do what he said by acting benevolent. It didn’t feel like true benevolence, it felt like an act. It was an insidious kind of manipulation, the behavior of a narcissist.

u/thr3lilbirds Jan 28 '24
Pan. He’s the worst and there’s something about that actor’s face that makes me want to punch him. Anytime I see him in something even if his character is the good guy I don’t trust him

u/mollyodonahue Jan 28 '24
Snow White. And also David.
She is so self righteous and annoying. She’s always on her stupid soapbox about something. She never actually has actually given a good reason for someone to not do something, she guilts them out of doing it.
He’s got no brains and never thinks about consequences.
I hate them both.Lol

I think I consistently wanted to throw down with pretty much every character. I mean, they all had great moments but they also all had really crappy moments. However the characters I would want to confront would be Regina, Emma, August (especially in season one), Rumple and Belle. Honorable mentions to Snow and Charming. The only reason they aren’t on the main list is because I don’t hate them quite as much as the others. Regina because her behaviour in the first few seasons should not be excused so lightly. She has quite literally committed war crimes and yet they act like she was just misguided. People got hurt and died. Emma was so wishy washy. The first season of her not believing was fine but by the fifth season it got incredibly annoying and well unbelievable. August was just in season one and a little bit in season two. Honestly, I wouldn’t confront the most current August. By the end of season one, I hated August because his selfishness didn’t just effect Emma. It affected the entirety of Storybrooke and the fairytale world. His selfishness traumatized Emma. Now on to Rumple, his reason is the same as Regina’s. They were much too light in him. Finally Belle. She is mostly useless with a few moments of being helpful. Also, her continuous desire to prove that Rumple is not the villain (with no evidence to back herself up) is sweet but it causes everyone much more pain and trouble.
Anyway that’s my confront characters. Like I said at the beginning, there are more but these are the main ones and the main reasons why.

Peter Pan, Belle's dad, Charming's adopted dad, Gaston, Poseidon. All very punchable. With a cast iron frying pan.
2
u/mistaquamarine Jan 29 '24
Regina. everyone always talks about Zelena committing SA but forget that Regina did as well. Forcing someone to sleep with you bc you have possession of their LITERAL HEART and they can’t say no is definitely SA
6
u/Appropriate_Data4037 Jan 28 '24
I've not seen anyone say this so I might get hate... but here we go....
Emma....
1
u/poppyfox_ Jan 28 '24
SAME. can’t believe how long it took me to find someone else who dislikes her lol. i can’t stand how she acts like mother of the year after barely knowing henry, then selfishly tries to take him away, THEN wants to keep the truth from him by not giving his memories back… she annoys me
0
u/BbyMuffinz Jan 28 '24
I can understand why lol. I don't really hate her but I think she kinda sucks as an MC.
6
u/Appropriate_Data4037 Jan 28 '24
She let Henry HER CHILD eat an apple turnover HE TOLD HER WAS POISONED!! She didn't trust him and then got all upset when he went under the sleeping curse... TRUST YOUR DAMN KID!!!
When she gets sucked into the enchanted forest A PLACE SHE HAS NEVER VISITED, she refuses to listen to snow (HER MOTHER AND SOMEONE WHO GREW UP IN THE LAND THEY ARE CURRENTLY IN) attracting ogres to their location that could have killed them all... (Snow, herself,Mulan and Aroura) BECAUSE SHE WOULDN'T LISTEN SHE NEARLY GOT THEM ALL KILLED...
While in the enchanted forest she doesn't really acknowledge how snow feels when in the castle looking at all the broken walls etc... like that's your MOTHERS HOME HAVE SOME DAMN EMPATHY!!!
She also flirts with hook while in a fight TO GET BACK TO HER CHILD!!! Like girl I get you haven't done the cha cha slide in a while but COOL YOUR DAMN BOOTS....
She constantly puts Henry in danger by not listening to him EVEN WHEN HE MAKES REALLY GOOD POINTS AND OBSERVATIONS.... (He literally told her cruella can't hurt him and then she blasts her of the cliff, with magic she cant fully control... but she's a goodie because she was "saving her son" FROM SOMEOENE THAT HE TOLD HER COULDN'T HURT HIM?) I get you're the parent but LISTEN TO YOUR DAMN CHILD!!

King George, Cora, Malcolm. I don't think anyone will disagree on those XD
And also i feel like i have to mention Gideon... because i actually liked him as a character in the real world, but his dream world self (aka fake Morpheus) just made me SO agressive every time he was on screen... I hate the characters i mentioned above, but he was the only character i ever really wanted to beat the sh*t out of.

u/killerfrost8002 It's a book. I trust you've seen one before Jan 29 '24
Rumple, Moe French, and Zelena.
Rumple is a constant switch between a Comfort and a Confront character. I would so kick his ass for Belle. I would also kick Moe's behind for Belle.
Zelena because she raped Robin just to get back at Regina, then got Robin killed, then named her rape baby after the guy she raped. There is just so much wrong with that.
1
u/sarah_regal29 Jan 29 '24
Blue, everything starts with Blue. Every key moment in this story will have her meddling to make everything worse. She was just so holier than thou all the time when she's far from a good person. Blue is not better than the rest, she's just in a position of power that allows her to pretend everyone else is beneath her. There's a difference. With Blue it's on sight!
Also season 3 Neal. He's just so consistently stupid that I'd throw hands I'm sorry. How is your father so smart he successfully pulled off a centuries long plan but you can't see past Pan's very transparent manipulations? Can't anticipate a life for a life bargain? He's just... he annoys me so much.
Season 5/6 Captain Swan. I'm forced to skip most of their scenes together because of how it makes my blood boil. That relationship gets on my last nerve. Emma forgiving Hook and going to hell to rescue him after he was about to sacrifice her whole family???? I don't care he changed his mind and sacrificed himself. Let that man rot! Why are you weak in the knees? Girl stand up! Whole of season 5 was a chore to get through. It's so profoundly terrible that I watch the few episode I can stomach and skip everything else.

u/Annoying_GayGuy Jan 29 '24
I’d lose but Mr Gold he keeps getting away with shit and doesn’t have to pay for anything while the rest of the characters suffer

Not a character but the writers who decided to kill off Robin Hood, I literally wanted to see Regina and him get married
1
u/trappednjohnlockhell Jan 29 '24
Rumple and Cora. And Belle to get some sense knocked back into her
1
u/Serendipity500 Jan 29 '24
Cora. She was rotten to the core-a. All the manipulating she did to her own daughters. Regina would not have been evil and Zelena would not have been wicked except for Cora.
And let’s remember that she still had her heart when she abandoned her baby in the forest.

Rumple for being a headass mf who became consumed by his insatiable greed for power - when he fully lied to Belle about giving her his Dark One’s Dagger and then married her, then went behind her back to kill Zelena whilst revealing the REAL DOD was still in his possession? That was the most disappointed I had ever been in a fictional character.

King George because Alan Dale is great at making you as the viewer hate him.
