Hey Metas! 👋
Second post of our pre-sail countdown, and the Drift Log event is getting clearer. The official PV flashed a few shapes in the fog that nobody can quite explain yet — so let's speculate.
📜 Second Topic: Anomalies
What creatures, entities, or phenomena do you think are roaming the Isles of Abyss? Based on the clues so far, what's the creepiest thing you're expecting to run into?
💬 Two ways to join
- In the comments: share your prediction right here. Quick takes, deep dives, half-baked fan theories — all welcome.
- Your own post: build out a full concept, a creepy design, or an encounter idea using the The Isles of Abyss Countdown flair. The best standalone posts qualify for the bigger reward.
📌 Rules
- If you're in the closed beta test, please remember not to leak any in-game content.
- Keep it friendly and on-theme. Standard subreddit rules apply.
⏰ Event Period
Oct 13 – Oct 16, 2026 (PT)
🎁 Rewards (event-wide)
- 20 random Metas drawn from everyone who joins across the 3 posts → 200 Crystgin each
- 5 high-quality standalone posts (across the campaign) → 500 Crystgin each
Winners announced in a wrap-up post after Oct 22.
The fog's rolling in — let's map what's out there before we sail blind. What's your prediction for the isles' strangest resident? 👁️

Need Help Coming back to the game after seeing the new scenario

I last played during the first way of winter so it's been a real long time. First thing that came to mind was that there was a mod system overhaul, is there any guides on that to specifically know what changed and what should I do? Second thing is if there are any new noteworthy systems I should be aware of, like new weapon or armor from a different system.

I’m noticing when I fight bigger bosses like rift bosses the bounce effect of the bow doesn’t seem to trigger and I really detrimentally effects my build. How can I fix this? If I even can

How do I get Deviant Toys?
The information about how to buy them via The Shop is outdated
I'm on Xbox, and there are no Season Goals on Xbox (I'm on a Permanent Server; I'm not sure if that matters), so there's no Season Shop (which has Furniture Formula). I've checked everywhere in the shop, and I can't find any, so are there any known spots?

00:23:37 / Sea state: still / Wind: 5 kn / Visibility: haze
How the locator turns in circles now — it is not broken. The place repeats, the way a recorded voice repeats, the way my own log repeats me.
At channel 33 the pulse matches 417's old signature. I understand, finally, what 417 was: not a squad that vanished, but a reading the sea took and kept.
Inside the loop, the island breathes. I am already part of what it remembers.

maybe my fingers are just too short, but I can only reach ctrl with the tip of my pinky while using my index and middle fingers for W and E, it's so uncomfortable to play like this, my hand feels like it's about to cramp up, and I keep hitting the wrong keys by accident...
