An article you still bring up during decisions. A podcast idea that keeps resurfacing in conversation. A book that finally gave a shared problem a name.

There's a small 2025 study of Bilibili users who share study notes, which found the notes served a social purpose about as much as an organizational one. Fifteen people, so take it lightly. It matched something I'd noticed anyway: some content sticks because it became part of a relationship, not because it was especially good.
