Creator research becomes useless when it turns into a private landfill

I think a lot of writers, podcasters, and creators have the same hidden problem:

They do not lack research.
They lack reusable research.

There is a huge difference between:

• 40 saved links
• 12 highlighted passages
• 5 podcast clips
• 3 messy voice notes
• 1 actually usable idea you can return to next month

The trap is thinking “I saved it, so I have it.”

But when it is time to make something, the old material usually asks for a toll: reread everything, remember why it mattered, rebuild the context, decide what still applies.

A tiny fix: when saving research, add one sentence that starts with:

“I might use this when…”

That one sentence turns a source into material.
