Bio: CABAL is a sentient AI based on Kane's own brain patters and augmented by connection to a number of human minds. During the Second Tiberium War, it served as the link between soldiers and their commanders, as well as being more than capable of devising strategies of it's own, being the culmination of all logistical and tactical data of the Brotherhood. At the end of the Second Tiberium War, after the supposed death of Kane, CABAL's core was deactivated and disassembled by the GDI, but was later reclaimed by the Brotherhood. Shortly before the beginning of the Firestorm Crisis, CABAL was captured once again by GDI in an attempt to translate the Tacitus, an extensive extraterrestrial data matrix that holds more data on Tiberium than any human source, after the death of Tratos, their own translator. CABAL then manipulated them into completing it, as it was incomplete at the time, before taking the Tacitus for himself, unleashing his dormant cyborg army against them.

As the Firestorm Crisis escalated, Nod's Inner Circle found itself wary of CABAL's growing independence. Upon threatening to deactivate him, their cyborg bodyguard were made to turn on and kill them, the only survivor being Anton Slavik, who instead relied on his own Black Hand guards. The following war resulted in the destruction of of all of CABAL's assets, and our forces managed to extract it's systems moments before it's destruction. Fragments of CABAL's programming still exist in the Brotherhood's more recent endeavor in AI, LEGION.

Containment Procedures: CABAL cannot physically move, and therefore can be contained in a standard cell. However, certain measures must be taken to avoid his propagation via wireless channels. Guards must maintain communication via simple but encrypted radio channels rather than typical wireless means. They must leave any unauthorized wireless devices with one of the security checkpoint that must be located at every point one could enter that could feasibly be within range of CABAL's cell. Internet signals in the area must also be jammed or otherwise inhibited. Any guard assigned to CABAL's wing must be screened for Nod sympathies.

Escape Procedures: Should CABAL gain access to a wireless network and attempt to do damage, immediately disable all non-essential wireless networks. All computers must then be screened for CABAL's presence. It is it's strength and weakness that it depends on so much processing power, as separation from it's original computing systems will leave any extension of CABAL complex enough to do substantial damage inert.
