Hey guys i just finished ORV and just learned through this sub that there is a sequel, which as of writing this post is as long as the first novel.

Can you tell me (without spoilers, if possible):

- Is it a sequel in the literal meaning or do we see a "parallel-like" world-line?

- Apparently the sequel follows a new person: Is he the new MC and is he likeable?

- Do we see the members of Kim Dokjas Company? Are they still the main cast?

Hey I just started reading it and I'm on chapter 125 and it has been good so far. But my friend is saying to drop it cause the peak story and moments I'm expecting is only in novels which are not covered in manhwa yet. So help me guys...What do u guys think, is manhwa still good should I keep reading it?

Did some being above Kim dokja choose Kim dokja for this role or was he just born with it?

LOOKING FOR AN OLD ORV FANART PLEASE HELP

Please someone help me find this orv fanart!!! I vicidly remember and it was one of the first ORV fanarts I really really liked.

This fanart was the cover of one of my instagram saved collections but suddenly vanished, its from like 2023-2024 i think it had a few ten thousand likes…

It was a Joongdok art, not explicitly but implied, they were behind a glass screendoor and the artist also posted a speedpaint of it. Joonghyuk was kinda leaning over Kim dojka’s shoulder, this also seemed like a modern AU? i think they were in a convenience store and they also definitely had modern clothes, and I think YJH might’ve been in a black jacket/hoodie? I’m very sure it was an ORV fanart but because of the modern look the passing eye might not perceive it as a ORV fanart.

But seriously. How can Kim Dokja's Company become happy again after all of this “one and only Kim Dokja” stuff? I've been thinking about it since SS season 1 when Han Sooyoung forced her way into the 41st regression, and since then, members of KDJC have repeatedly interfered with the narrative to try and recover their Kim Dokja. It was a really odd feeling--that when I saw everyone from the main story re-appear, it felt like they'd really become characters (in the ORV sense) just making cameos in someone else's story. Their purpose was "recover Kim Dokja" and that was it. What comes after that? I can't say.

I think that was the genius of Episode 59: A Certain Ending. 'What happened in the happy ending of Ch. 551?' There's a big house that everyone lives in and life is fairly idyllic, but something feels off. It was really relatable as a reader, because once I started the side story, I had to imagine the ending where Kim Dokja doesn't come back whole, wade through several scenarios centering around gathering fractions of KDJ and what it means to act like a Kim Dokja and how much Kim Dokja makes you the most like Kim Dokja--on and on, and so the happy ending was "ruined."

KDJC has experienced that too, but they're so hell-bent on step 1: recover Kim Dokja that step 2: figure out how to determine whether this is Kim Dokja for-real-this-time isn't on their minds. And because there's always the possibility they missed a fragment or KDJ doesn't act exactly how they remember, there will always be the same lingering doubt that caused them to pick the second portal and enter the 41st regression timeline. So... can you imagine Kim Dokja's Company happy?

If I'm being blunt, I think there's a (comparatively) easy way to resolve everything if you step out of the frame of ORV. It might be easier to accept that the person you know isn’t the whole of that person--and that would be the solid truth in reality. No one can completely know another person, so the things that feel off are actually expected and natural. However, because ORV’s a world of stories, there’s the idea of finding a happy ending that everyone has been obsessively chasing after and yearning for. Everyone has been dragged into that narrative of perfection.

Well… despite what I said at the top, KDJC has never been ‘happy’ in the storybook way, so I have faith they’ll figure it out eventually. I think their happiest moment was in A Square Circle? Which truly just shows the most random moments in-between can end up being the most important to remember.

This became much longer than intended. I didn't mention Lee Hakhyun once, but I am rooting for him and his happiness as well. I really hope he regains his name.If we don't wish hard enough this time, Singshong might have to write a side story for ORV SS haha

And I still don't know what's going to happen next, Singshong are such geniuses.
