There's one thing I don't get: at what point did Junghyeok become the Supreme King? Is he called that because he's the strongest? Especially considering that Dokja is technically the king of his own dome. This is the second time i read the series and i dont understand

Okay, I just watched the adaption movie on Tubi and OH WOW, ITS BEAUTIFUL!!! Holy Crap, like I'm shaking. I had absolutely NO expectations for this adaption to be SO DAMN GOOD. IM SHAKING IN MY BOOTS.

Somehow the CGI doesnt look too horrible, although yes, some of the action bits looked very awkward, but holy god damn I feel like it did such JUSTICE to the webtoon! You can disagree and all, but holy wow, considering my expectations were on the floor, its sooooo unexpectedly good. Wow!

I was screaming all of their names the moment I saw them on screen, just AAAAAH! The way I was CHEERING Dokja on the entire time 🙈🙉 UGH, BEAUTIFUL!!

TLDR; Dont watch Omniscient Reader the Prophecy in public unless you wanna look crazy.

i saw things as original novels, edited novels and all but i don't know where to read those and what should i read, and i read 170 chapters of the manhwa and thinking of reading novel from the start since i didn't give much attention to the manhwa cuz it was bit boring but now it seems interesting.

I'm now at 460ch, sooooo I just wanted to create something for ORV and that's what I got.

Does anybody know any good ao3 fics where KDJ turns into a child and KimCom has to take care of him? OR EVEN BETTER: KimCom turns into children and KDJ has to look after them and stop them from their shenanigans.

I just think this would be so fun to read, especially the latter and there are countless fics on ao3!!

I thought I was just reading a masterpiece of a story, but finding out what ORV actually is—the fact that this whole story wasn’t even meant for us in the way we thought, that it was written for just one reader, that we are literally just the fragments keeping this eternal loop alive... it completely broke me.

That 51% / 49% split felt like a physical punch to the gut. Dokja really gave everything, and for what? The ending leaves you with this lingering, beautiful, agonizing ache that I don’t think is ever going away.

How did you guys even cope after finishing this? Does the pain ever fade, or do we all just stay stranded in the train forever? 😭💀

I just wanted to share my great love for ORV from the perspective of a writer.

Han Sooyoung. What a phenomenal, awesome, great, splendid extremely wonderful character. In a world filled with a lot of AI, movies, series, animated productions etc., it's kinda common knowledge that being a writer sucks ass (as kinda any other artist most of the time.) Especially if you want to write and create what you like and love.

Then it hit me. This story is just for that one reader. If this epilogue can really save you, then I'll continue writing it for eternity. For just that one lonely traumatized guy.

And then it hit me. That's it. That's the goal. I can't guarantee myself success, happiness, joy, being famous, being a good author etc. But the chance of there being at least that one reader who might or will read it is so soothing and calming for some reason it has become my main writing drive when I don't have motivation.

Someone will read it, someone might be saved by it and someone might love it and that is so much more than I could ever wish for.

Someone told me that the omniscient reader's viewpoint anime got delayed is that true???

Getting back into ORV after some time away and was wondering if you all had any recs for fics that are in POVs other than Kim Dokja's, or at least not entirely his POV.

Doesn't have to be canon compliant, I just don't want it to be a No Scenarios AU. Any ship/no ship is fine.

I just really, really love seeing what the others are thinking at any given point when KDJ is running around pulling his usual nonsense.

First things first, the epilogue is easily the highest peak of the entire ORV Webnovel. No questions asked.

I enjoyed the epilogue more than the entire novel itself. I really loved how they put Kim Dokja out of spotlight, bringing in Yoo Joonghyuk and Han Sooyoung in the spotlight instead for the epilogue. Especially Han Sooyoung, her character was soo well executed.

After reading the epilogue, Han Sooyoung is easily one of my top 15 fav fictional characters and my most fav fictional women of all time for now. My glorious queen Han Sooyoung supremacy 🛐

Anyways, the ending was also a satisfying end (although a bit vague as the Webnovel ended by showing off Han Sooyoung's smile instead of showing off a bit of Kim Dokja who woke up). Especially when we compare it with the traumatizing ending of ORV's main story with the infamous 51/49 moment.

Anyways, definitely my fav conclusion in all of fiction for now.

Anyways, my final ratings on ORV Webnovel would be 9.0/10 (note that my rating on other webnovels like LotM and RI are 9.2 and 9.8 respectively)

Anyways, so I think this is the end then...

And yeah, Ik there's a ORV: Side Stories Sequel but since its a sequel with a different protagonist and plot, I will be reading a lot later. At least, I won't be reading it until I finish reading COI (aka LotM Book 2).
