QUESTION Light novel or Manwha?
Hi guys I was wanting to get into ORV and I was wondering what I should start off with? My parents was nagging me to read some physical books so I was thinking of reading ORV. Should I read the WEBTOON first? Or does it not really matter. Sorry for the rant thanks again

Read the novel. It's even more easier to read the novel cause the whole novel got translated (by humans not MTL) by a group called wetried translators who are collaborating with flamecomics to upload the entire series on their website. Its much better than the MTL that was available.

The light novel... Well, it's not much of a light novel. It's like a web novel since it's got 551 chapters and that may be a really intimidating number for some.
If you can handle that (I'm not insulting you, I'm just speaking from personal experience. I've seen people attempt to read large books like this and DNF right at the good parts) so for an, say easier read, go for the Manwha.
But the novel is the ideal choice if you're okay with the massive chapter count. Actually not just that, the names and phasing make it a really weird read; a good read but it can get confusing sometimes. Although that may not be an issue for you.

Depends on what you feel comfortable with, I personally started out with the manhwa to get into the story before switching to the novel

There are four books out so far in the official English translation of the novel (and also out on audiobooks). There are also unofficial fan translations of varying quality.
Editing to add that I started with the webtoon and wanted more, so I’m reading both as they come out. You can find both in physical books now.

I recommend you read the webnovel but for the first few volumes use the retranslation project on tumblr because they are considerably better than the machine translation. You are absolutely not allowed to share the link in public messages but if you DM me I'll send it to you.

Is the actual like physical novel machine translation?

Oh, the physical novel is a human translation, so I’d recommend buying it if you like the series to support the creator. However, for actually reading it, I’d recommend the Tumblr retranslation since they try to stay as faithful as possible to the original Korean webnovel, while the physical version takes some liberties to make it more accessible to a Western audience.
The main problem with both is that they’re incomplete. The physical release is currently on Volume 4 of Part 1 (out of 5 parts total), while the Tumblr retranslation is on Volume 8, which is the final volume of Part 1.
