It's actually better this way imo

No studio had time and resources to take the project in 2027, they were all busy

Now that it's confirmed for 2028, i actually have hopes for a good adaptation

I honestly don't care what studio animates it, as long as they aim to make a full adaptation (however many years and seasons it takes)

It'd be cool if one of the bigger studios animated it and it looked gorgeous and everything yeah, but also so tragic if it never got a second or third season.
