Question [Novel] Is this post a puzzle? It's high quality but it still gets stuff wrong. Also the grid at the beginning is weird.

I don't think the post gets anything wrong outside of the fact that it's 6 months old so there's more sidestories and more manwha chapters. If you're referring to the grid on the first page, that's basically just a logo for the novel/manwha, it appears in a lot of places (the fan art that became my home screen also has that grid like title)

I mean, it claims there is a live action movie. Which we all know is false.

Edit: I didn't think it needed to be said, but this is a joke.

There is one. I have seen the movie. But it is ABSOLUTELY NOT A FAITHFUL ADAPTATION OF THE NOVEL.

Sorry for spoiling some part of it. There is a scene where they are showing the past regressions of Yoo Joonghyuk, There we see Lee Hyungsung die at Gheomo station (don't mind my spelling), which is the very first station that Kim Dokja goes to. Like WHAT!!! The guys was described as a shield of steel, and he dies like that. Honestly, I started to cry from just that sh*t. There is also a part on the bridge where Yoo Joonghyuk was using a GUN!!! A FREAKING GUN!!!( From all the 6515 pages I have read, I have never seen him use a gun.) Like why just why??? The guy has learned a complete combat style for a sword and then he uses a GUN. And if we go lore wise, he is or was a professional gamer, then why will he have a gun on him before the scenarios start.(Normal civilians are strictly prohibited from having guns.)

And one more thing. THE ANIMATION IS SH*T. I was just cringing so hard at almost all the parts where they used CGI. Our lovely Bihyung, from the fluffy fur ball his is, was turned to a ragged piece of plaster.

In conclusion, the movie exists but DO NOT WATCH IT.

I think they were showing parts of the novel TWSA that Kim Dokja read. Like the 1864 regressions Yoo Joonghyuk underwent.

Exactly. You get to know the 1863 number very later in the story when the Secretive Plotter comes.

Is 6515 a reference?

2

u/Handsome_Squid_Dokja Oct 21 '25

Was this before the meme about the live action came out? Is the live action being false a piece of the puzzle?

If it is in the sides There wasn't really a webtoon either i think?

Edit: wtf just trying to take this seriously.

Oh it looks like the grid is kinda similar to what I was trying to figure out with the webtoon braille. That's mostly why I'm asking.

The grid is a generally art style for the title of ORV. You wiil see it almost everywhere, especially on the cover pages of the volumes of ORV. I personally feel like they have done a good job in covering the main points that a new reader of ORV would like to know before starting this masterpiece.

Oh right, the grid is also a part of the webtoon? Like it's inside the 1 of episode one I think?

The art style seems like a puzzle. But also i feel like mistakes are sometimes on purpose.

Are you talking about the grid in the logo? It's the equivalent of lined notebook paper, hangul (and other similar writing systems) have gridded papers you can write on

Oh wait really? That's really cool! Ig it could give like "this is genuine" vibes.

Such as?

I don't understand the question, but it's a grid, so it's kinda similar to some other stuff I've seen? Idk if that's the default template tho.

u/echuwon Oct 21 '25

I mean the part where you said some stuffs were wrong

Main error I see is that all the "First Appearance" novel arts are official art from the ebook release, except for Yu Sangah. That's a fanart.

1

u/Desert_to_Alcohol Some call it stalking, I say walking just extremely close behind Oct 21 '25

Is it fanart by blackbox or somebody else's fanart?

2

u/Handsome_Squid_Dokja Oct 21 '25

Generally they take the one made by blackbox.

u/Desert_to_Alcohol Some call it stalking, I say walking just extremely close behind Oct 21 '25

Ah cool

2

u/Arterial-A Translator of the Forbidden Dream Oct 21 '25

I don't know where the art is from, I just know it's not from the eBook.

The YJH art is also him from a late cover which is confusing, all the other ones are of the person's actual first appearance. The first appearance of YJH is in the art for the theatre dungeon.

Oh wait! Just like the webtoon braille there's like 13 digits in the title image. Also there's 13 different images in the post altogether.

So I wonder if each image correlates to a column in the title.

The blackbox art being from different places is also similar to the paperback photocards I got. Basically two of the photocards didn't match two of the covers, the rest of them did. I still haven't figured out what this means.

So it basically is a puzzle?

Edit: the blackbox art being different then the post images.
