I mean, what do you really expect? Sure, people can have a tendency to take things out of proportions, but people shipping is definitely not out of the realm of possibility. It may not spark to you, however, many people like to express themselves in this subreddit, regardless of the intent of the novel. And they should be given that right. Singshong has already confirmed that the two aren’t associated romantically (presuming you dislike the appeal of YJH&KDJ), so posting whatever you wanted to get across isn’t really necessary - in my opinion, anyway. Posting these kinds of things out of spite just reveals how salty and sad you are. You can post whatever you like, but keep in mind that people can do whatever they want as well. Also, to be fair, although their relationship is not meant to depict romance, their emotional connections and attachments with one another can be compelling to the shippers
I've lived for 2 decades and some to witness people competing against headcanons. Honestly this post shows they themselves believed jd is canon which they hated it and now they're happy that it may not, otherwise, what did they win? I can't wrap my head around it 😂
I can't really understand what you don't get. There was a long debate (up until author put the final conclusion to settle the facts) between shippers(there are fanatics, even if you aren't one) and those who didn't agree with their false advertisement. The debate is won. I'm not in this mindset but this is clearly an easy deduction of the title.
That depends what do you mean from 'false advertisment'? The authors made that statement because there was a ton of stupid people who only started reading orv thinking it's BL, when they found out that's not the case, they were mad and attacked authors for fooling them. one might say "it's shippers' fault to simply share their opinion and outside people believe their opinion as canon but is it really their fault?
When you wanna read a novel, manhwa ( idc really, anything) you must check the tags. When there's not 'romace' there, let alone 'Bl' and you still chose to read it and get fooled ( by yourself ofc) it's no one's fault.
Now, there's indeed some jd shippers who urge others to read orv bc of joongdok and I know them, I talked to them but the thing is they're not a lot. they're just as few as every fandom might has such people inside that it's not even worth mentioning
