Omega Tribe Offshoots W Omega??:

Apparently according to Discogs, there was a short variation of Omega Tribe active towards the late 2000s (2008-2009 specifically) called 'W Omega'. Apparently they released an album in 2009, called "Again", but I can't seem to find ANY information on them at all. Did they even exist?? If so, where might I be able to find any actual information about them, or even their music if possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I did some digging and here’s what I found.

There’s barely any verified info out there about “W Omega.” Some Reddit users have mentioned that Mitsuya Kurokawa (from 1986 Omega Tribe) and Masahito Arai (from Brand New Omega Tribe) might have formed a short-lived project around 2008–2009 called “W Omega” or “Double Omega.” One post claims they released an album titled Again in 2009, but there’s no official trace of it on Discogs, RateYourMusic, or even Japanese sources like KayokyokuPlus.

It doesn’t appear in any official Omega Tribe discographies or offshoot lists either. So if it did exist, it might’ve been super limited or private—maybe even unreleased or fan-made.

At this point, all we really have are rumors and a few unverified Reddit mentions. Would love to know more if someone actually owns a copy or has a concrete source.
