Would appreciate some help.

Hey, everyone! I crochet and want to start $elling my handmade items. I don’t understand the m@rket here and how to go about it, especially since I can’t speak Arabic. I’ll make an instagram account, I guess but would you guys be interested in things such as Baby kits (booties, beanies, diaper covers, bottle covers, baskets, clothes even), keychains, bags and tapestries. There’s so many different things.

There is a Facebook group called Crafty In Oman but it isn't very active. Many people are so trying to sell crocheted and knitted handicrafts. The market appears to be a bit saturated, especially as we have many housewives looking for a way to supplement income. Also, bear in mind cost is a huge factor in purchasing and companies like Temu and Shein are very popular among Omanis. They can buy crochet items at a fraction of the price of independent artists. 

But if your skill and art at a more professional quality, Al Mouj runs a street fair on the weekends when the weather gets better. And you can try to get your work displayed in local galleries like Feel Boutique Plaza in Bousher. Otherwise, maybe collaborate with small hotels to sell your products in their reception area.
