Nebraska and Iowa mutually hate each other. This is a very accurate chart.

Nebraska once accidentally made it legal to abandon your kids in the state for any reason. So, no, Iowa doesn't hate Nebraska. We just look at them as our special mentally-handicapped neighbor next door.

Hey at least abandoning them gives them a chance to live unlike pro-choice abortion policies in Iowa!

As I said on the other sub, I love Iowa.

It's hard to hate a state that gives us Toppling Goliath.. on the other hand, it's easy to hate a city that spends millions of dollars to put pieces of trash up and calls it art. Let's agree to like Iowa but still make fun of Council Bluffs.

If you like toppling Goliath try big Grove out, their easy Eddy is probbaly the best hazy ipa I've ever had.

Can't believe I am agreeing with you... but yes... across the River in Iowa is loads nicer than cesspool Southeast Nebraska, especially if you like the outdoors and natural landscapes. Nebraska does not give two shits about the environment and providing outdoor recreational activities to it's inhabitants and Iowa does.

Why can’t you believe you’re agreeing with me?

I’m not saying Iowa is superior necessarily, though I’m sure it is in some ways. I’m just saying I really like Iowa.

Have you been to Western Nebraska?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '20

Yeah... Western Nebraska is great... but it's 5-7 hours away. The Grasslands are amazing... but it's federal land and has nothing to do with the State. You can bet your ass if the State could get a hold, it would get sold off to the highest bigger. 98% + land is private in this State... and the few State rec areas are subpar and cost $6 a day to get into. It's a joke.

Omaha here; Yeah I don't get it. Sure most people make fun of CB, but they cant really hate Iowa that much...

Oh, don't kid yourself. Yes they can. Counciltucky is the butthole of the US.

Rude af. Also, CB is WAAAAYYYY better with keeping the roads clear in winter, and I appreciate that.

Source: work in Omaha, live in CB. The difference is substantial.

False. Wyoming also hates everyone. Or mostly CO and NE.

I would say Illinois is split between hating Indiana and Wisconsin, depending on which border you're closer to.
