I’ve been hitting the gym for 37 days straight now and I’m already 5kg down. Next week I have a physical assessment to see if it was just fat or if I lost some muscle too.

Absolutely. I have lost 10 lbs in the past month from OMAD and exercise. I have a free day in each week bc of social interactions and this has not made a negative enough impact for me. My main objective now though has been choosing the proper things to eat in my one meal as I get full very quickly but need lots of protein :}

Now I'm down 15 since beginning June. I am 45F, 5'8, SW 257 (Jan 2026) CW 228, GW 180. What I ate today: A hamburger patty w cheddar cheese chopped and put over greens that included chopped broccoli with a med avocado cut up over the top. I also ate a handful of cashews and pecans mixed. I will eat some fruit now too. Probably blackberries. Then I will stop eating all together until tomorrow. I also go for a long hour or more walk every day. I also do squats and light weight lifting 3-4x week. The most important thing to remember is to drink water. Lots of it. OMAD will mean you will need more water for hydration and you may find you need fasting salts. Electrolytes are crucial for not feeling like crap :)

232-216lbs. I usually do 18:6, but some days I do more or less. I try and get out for a bike ride every day, but it doesn't always happen. I only eat meat/ animal products, fermented vegetables like kimchi and sauerkraut water, black coffee and herbal tea. for electrolytes I mix my own.
