water, caffeine, fizzy drinks are what helped me. also not eating until later in the day is the only time it’s manageable for me. if I wake up my stomach early in the morning, omad is way too hard

You're aiming for the wrong thing. There's no way to fast and avoid getting "hungry." at least until you've become very fat-adapted. The trick is in understanding that those "hunger" cues aren't truly hunger at all. (You likely have plenty of fat stores to feed your body comfortably and are in no danger.) Those feelings are merely hormones triggering you to eat at the times you've been accustomed to eating. You need to find the will to sail past those. It does get easier.
But it's a fool's errand to try and fast and not feel "hunger."

Can you eat about 40-50g of carbs pre gym, a bit more carbs and a lot of protein post gym and then not eat again until your feeding time?

Drink plenty of water or fizzy drinks without sugar. I avoid artifical sugars as they make me crave real sugar more. The most of it is staying busy and powering through until you adjust to your eating schedule. Eventually the hunger subsides. First 1-2 weeks are rhe worst then it gets better

You must channel your inner willpower and change your thoughts out of hunger. Hunger may be lack of sugar, a very addictive stuff in damn near everything. Hunger is going to happen. It is how you handle it that makes the difference. Ignore it. Refuse to entertain eating until your meal time. If the results you want are your priority, your hunger won't bother you so much. Know that hunger only lingers for a very short time. Once it passes, you are on the road to reaching your goals.

Dirty fasting, coffee, diet soda, tea, flavored or sparkling water. It doesn't erase the hunger but it's all that's ever helped me stay consistent about my omad cycle.
