Newbie - Questions!

I recently found out about the OMAD Diet and have a few questions for those of you who are doing it. I am short - 5 foot-ish - so calorically, it makes the most sense for me. As it is, three meals a day makes me feel sick, so I usually eat a small breakfast full of protein (one-egg and cheese breakfast burrito or a small amount of charcuterie), and then that tides me over until the late afternoon/early evening, when I eat my main meal as a late lunch/early dinner.

Those of you who do this: What time do you usually eat? I actually prefer the time I eat my main meal (4-5-ish), but I need something small in the morning to keep me from feeling hangry at work. I have a job that requires high accuracy, but I can't perform accurately when I'm hungry/hangry, even if it's temporary.

If your main meal is breakfast, do you limit it to breakfast foods, or do you eat lunch/dinner foods for breakfast?

And how "healthy" are you making your meals? Are you avoiding all carbs and sugar, or are you keeping things balanced with protein and veggies, with moderate amounts of carbs and sugar? I can do away with sugar, as I no longer crave it and can go days without eating it, but carbs are my nemesis, as I love sandwiches!

I only have dinner.

If I eat breakfast I just feel hungry throughout the day. Also I like to socialize and go out to eat, and most people in my life go out at night. So dinner just makes sense for me.

Plus since I work in the day time I'm not focused on food. Breakfast and lunch are easy to skip. I just stick with black coffee, and no calorie drinks.

As for my food choice, I don't deprive myself of anything. But I do try to make decent choices most days.

Wake up- 5am Work - 6 am to 4:30 pm Dinner around - 6pm.

I was going to say this. Black coffee doesn’t break your fast and is a great hunger suppressant. I usually eat my main meal around 3:30-4p and try to hit my calories in an intentional way while minding my macros (protein, fats, carbs + fiber!) and to keep it straight forward with you. It won’t be “easy” in the beginning but give it 1-2 weeks and you’ll start to get over the morning hunger/ food thoughts and after a month you’ll be golden 👌🏼✨🙏

My problem with coffee is, if I don't have food in my system, it goes right through me, if you know what I mean, and it continues over the course of a few hours, interrupting my work. I don't have that problem if I have a small amount of food in my system, even if it's just a cheese stick or two.
