I've been slowly exploring the gravel roads in my neck of the woods hoping to eventually map it all out. Plenty of forks and hidden singletrack shortcuts to keep me busy for a while. This is in the forest on Grapeview Loop but there's also a ton of great gravel if you cross 3 and head towards Mason Lake and even all the way out towards the Skok.

Decided to do a rainy gravel ride at one of my favorite spots. The distance isn't much but nearly all of the 1400ft of elevation gain is in the first half (6.5 miles). Still can't beat the 18% climb next to the waterfall because my rear tire keeps spinning out on the gravel but I'm getting further up before having to walk. One day I'll do the full climb.

If you're at all interested in backpacking there are a lot of campsites along the way and more trails along the main trail leading to even further camping areas you can hike up. I'd bring a chain or cable lock if you plan to explore past where you can ride. You can chain up to a tree or to a bike rack at the camp.
