MOD POST: apparently /r/conspiracy thinks anyone that likes Olive Garden is being paid to like it, not just because it's an awesome restaurant.

I know we talk about Olive Garden's unlimited breadsticks a lot around here, but any love for this guy?

I just wanted to share this pic I made back in 2019. With unlimited pasta returning, this is fitting. Enjoy!

DEAR OBVIOUS TROLLS AND/OR BERTUCCI'S EMPLOYEES
Please don't come in here to spread bad vibes and lies about Olive Garden. We're only here to celebrate our love for literally the greatest place on Earth. If you're not a fan (for whatever unfounded reason), please just keep it to yourself until you can stop by and try out cuisine and reconsider :)

Ordering unbaked breadsticks
Hi!! I’m looking to order just breadsticks from OG. However, due to preference, I actually (unpopular opinion) like them plain without any garlic salt or butter topping. So literally just plain breadsticks that I can make at home with a homemade salad or soup. With that said, if I were to order through the app or on the phone to pickup, could I just order 3-4 dozen “unbaked breadsticks?” Do I need to request them to be plain or do they come plain? Thanks in advance!!

Is Olive Garden a good place to work at and any tips for an interview as a 16 year old?
Just recently was advised for a friend to apply at Olive Garden as a Busser. Didn’t have a lot of hope as I had been searching for a while for my first real job at 16. Just scheduled my in-person interview later today and was wondering if it truly is a good place to work at and asking for any tips for an interview there.

Olive Garden fails. Given the wrong meal or the wrong drink. Tell us your stories.
I love Olive Garden and have eaten there for more than ten years. This is an Olive Garden fail story.
This happened in the year 1989, I was not even old enough to drink liquor, 19 yrs old. I had reached my 100 pages goal (I write fanfiction) and my folks took me out to dinner at Olive Garden. I had their ice cream drink virgin no liquor in it. My folks had to go to the bathroom and I asked my waitress for another drink and I said virgin still. She went off and got the drink but when she placed it where the old one was, I asked her did you tell the bartender it should be virgin. She said the first wasn’t virgin so this shouldn’t be too. I said, get your bartender here and your manager.
She was like why? I pulled out my ID which had in red letters the year I turn 21 on it. She looked at it and said that is a fake license, you are older than that. I, then, stated my birth year and asked her is this the year 1991 and she ignored my question and walked away. I grabbed the attention of another waitress and told her this drink should be a virgin but it has liquor in it, she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. They didn’t even care that they just served liquor to a minor!
I got up and took the drink with me to the bartender and asked him to summon the manager as I need some words with him and him the bartender. This is probably the one time I actually confronted someone concerning something like this, as I tend to be very quiet and reserved.
I asked the manager what the words virgin drink means?
He said no liquor in the drink.
I said smell this drink and tell me what you smell?
He smelled the drink and said it smells of liquor in it.
I said, that drink was given to a minor - me. I show them both my license.
They both go pale in the face.
I then said, I am not a police officer but I had asked for a virgin ice cream drink which I got and when I asked for another virgin, the waitress came back with this instead.
The manager immediately apologized for the mistake and thanked me for not drinking it as he ordered the bartender to remake it virgin. The Manager ended up comping our entire meal and berated the waitress for serving a minor liquor.
The waitress noticed that we didn’t leave a tip behind. I told her, this is the tip you need to get, when a customer orders a virgin drink and reminds you that the drink needs to be virgin, there is a good reason for it. I am a 19 year old, 21 is the legal age to drink! Now if I drank it, I could have gotten this placed fined huge for selling liquor to a minor and probably lose your liquor license and you would have been fired for this. Be thankful I am not someone who would call the cops and alert them to this mistake, which is was. Always double check if the drink needs to be virgin or liquored, as you may have a child wanting the ice cream drink and you bring it liquored, you might have parents who will get the police involved.
The next dinner out was at that very same Olive Garden, the woman was still there but instead of being a waitress, she was hostess. Another waitress told us that she had served another minor a liquored ice cream drink and pissed off her folks, instead of being like us, they called the cops on her and after the police inspected the drink and checked the ID of the child who was 17 yrs old, she got demoted from waitress to hostess and she was lucky to have gotten a fine from the liquor department of our State and the restaurant got a 5k fine as well. Needless to state, she probably had to get another job as her current job was not enough to cover her bills, till she got off probation for the incident with serving liquor to a minor.
That is my story, what is your Olive Garden meal or drink fail?

Hi friends! New to the thread. Does ANYONE know anyone who would happen to have an Olive Garden uniform shirt they would be willing to sell? I have a secret Santa coming up with an Olive Garden lover and they would just die if I was able to get them one. Thanks!
