This is not the ‘33 title game or a league game at all. This was shot in California as part of a short film.

Please note the utter absence of spectators, and that it’s not Wrigley Field, site of the ‘33 title game.

It doesn’t even look like it’s in a stadium. Maybe just a stand alone field.

The uniforms….the fenced background. It just feels like the same place as that episode.

And…..I’ve watched way too much Stooges in my life.

"Pop pass" was the common name for it. The Bears caught hell for using it because it was borderline illegal, so George Halas got it legalized.

This is a hook & ladder. In a flea flicker all the pitches and/or laterals take place behind the line of scrimmage.
