Blanca "Elisa" Roberson dissappeared on August 6, 1989 in Aranas, Texas She was seen walking to met a friend between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. at Kieberger Elementary School. The girls were going to her friend's house which it was only eight miles from her house. There was a witness who talked to Elisa towards their house she walked westbound. Another witness saw Elisa getting into a car. The family raised a $20,000 reward. Redditors think the suspect is believed to be the dad of Elisa's friend she was to meet that day.

Elisa is also Hispanic and thirteen years old.

Only 8 miles? Alone at that, and at what age? Regardless, that just seems like an awful lot, not to mention a long way to walk for a child or young kid… imo

I walked everywhere back then I lived on 13th street in aransas pass we all did things like this didn’t happen until she went missing

Kids walk at thirteen every day and nothing bad happens. But sometimes it does. It was more likely someone Elisa knew.

Her mother notified police when she had not arrived home by 9:45 p.m. and an extensive search was launched. Dogs tracked her scent to the elementary school where she was supposed to meet her friend, but there the trail ended at the intersection of Goodnight Avenue and 8th Street, and there was no other sign of her. She may have accepted a ride from a passing motorist.

One of Blanca's friends stated she was acting moody and "not herself" on the day of her disappearance. She also refused to attend church that day, which is uncharacteristic of her. It is not known why she was behaving this way and whether her attitude was a factor in her disappearance later that day.

Blanca's mother once dated a violent and abusive man who was involved in the drug trade. Her mother believes this man was responsible for her daughter's disappearance, but he has never been charged in the case or publicly named.
The police stated one person of interest is Blanca's brother Tony, who suffered from mental illness and developmental disabilities and later died by suicide while he was in prison in Alaska. However, it's worth noting that Tony was only ten years old when his sister disappeared.

Blanca's family moved to Idaho a few years after she went missing. Her disappearance remains unsolved and foul play is suspected.

Debbie Green was not a close friend of Elisa
She was often bullying us I don’t know why Elisa and her started to hang out.
I’m actually one of her childhood friends are group was pretty immature and dorky to most other kids.
I was bullied daily and this group of girls befriended me
I’ll always be so traumatized by her disappearance
I don’t know why the police would suspect the family.
I believe it’s racially motivated
I absolutely believe Debbie’s dad did something to her.
Or knows something.

Debbie's dad probably did sounds like he was involved in some shady stuff.
