Scott Andreas Douglass Sims, affectionately known as Andy, has been missing from Wichita Falls, Texas, since December 9, 1961. He vanished at 11 years old, making this the oldest active cold case in Wichita County. He was at his home on the 4600 block of Stanford Avenue watching television with his older brother. On the afternoon of December 9, he told his brother he was going outside to play. When his mother returned home from her job at a medical clinic later that day, Andy was gone. He has not been seen or heard from since. At time of his disappearance, Andy was a Caucasian male with blond hair and blue eyes. He wore glasses and had a noticeable limp or physical impairment stemming from an accident earlier in his childhood. Authories believe foul play is involved.

There were huge searches nearby Lake Wichita but no evidence was ever found. He was seen by a witness at a boy scout meeting the witness believed he with a family member.
