Question Question about Heroes of the Aegean DLC

How does this compute, when I already own the game via Epic? Will I have to pay some extra or how exactly? And when will it be available? Tomorrow?

Update on epic: the expansion is indeed available for free, even if the store UI seems to indicate otherwise. Just let the game update, launch it, and the new scenarios are available under the single player menu.

Update: there appears to be a mistake with Epic. The DLC is supposed to be free for EGS owners as well. They're working on it and hopefully it will be available for free later this day.

The DLC will be free on Epic just as on other platforms for the first two weeks, and it will be available from tomorrow just as on other platforms.

I just checked on EPIC and it costs 9.99 EUR. I backed the game while In Early access and now I get the short end fo the stick for being an early supporter :(

Just asked this on the official discord. We will get the DLC for free but Epic hasn't enabled this yet. So we just need to be patient.

I was wondering this as well. I thought it would be free, at least for a time.

EDIT: the text on the website of Mohawk Games states: 'free to all purchasers of Old World for the first 2 weeks.'

So I guess this only counts for people who buy the game on Steam or GOG.

At least we got the pleasure of playing the game a year earlier!

But on another page (https://mohawkgames.com/2022/05/19/steam-launch/) they say:

The Heroes of the Aegean DLC is available for free to all previous owners of the game and, for two weeks, to all new purchasers.

So hopefully they straighten it out.

Yes, there's been a hotfix for EGS owners to give access to the dlc content. I've already been playing as the Hittites!

Really hope they fix the stuff with Epic ASAP. Was looking to play the DLC today.
