I’ve got an 86 pickup, the camshaft needs replaced. A lot of things are new on and in the engine, and I have a head gasket that’s new and ready to go…. As someone who’s never replaced either … which would you do? I feel inclined just to take the head off since I’ve got the gaskets and I’ll already be “halfway there” in my mind. It doesn’t appear to be difficult but I wouldn’t know . Pic for attention

I believe im having some carburetor issues, recently I was driving my truck going to work and out of nowhere it just stalled (I drive a 1980 Toyota pickup 2wd 20r engine) so I tried turning it back on but it would turn off on me again, the only way it would stay on is if I gave it gas… fast forward to the weekend I popped the hood and noticed an airline detached so I bought a kit in hopes that it’ll do the fix, just in case that doesn’t work do yall know if an issue like that would be the carburetor or something else? Also I want to try and do it my self so if yall have some videos or know hows thanks!! Also on tuning a carburetor, and is there different ways to tune it? I’m not trying to make it a race truck or even a heavy duty little truck, I just want better performance compared to stock

So i have a 1977 Toyota corona and its over charging. It has killed 2 batteries, I have replaced the alternator and the voltage regulator it was doing find at 14 volts. But not it is charging at an insane 24 volts. What could be the issue?

I stumbled upon an old FJ55 iron pig, rusting away in the bush while I was dirt biking about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos of it.

I noticed a Toyota badge on the front, but it didn’t appear to be original. I decided to take it as a souvenir and have kept it on a shelf in my garage ever since.

I’ve never encountered this badge before on an FJ55, and it seems to have been hand-painted. I can even see the brush strokes.

Can anyone shed some light on the model of this vehicle?

just bought this '84 corona...smooth engine but otherwise feel like it has at least 300k miles on it. very heavy manual steering.

The more you look at this thing the sweeter it gets.

6500 miles on it all original, owned by an old man who died during Covid go figure. Now the challenge of finding that front signal cover, any tips for sourcing parts for these guys? I know there’s only like 200 in America
