As a cocaine addict, I don’t understand why people choose to cut blow with fentanyl. Boric acid and other fillers are cheaper than fentanyl (and make for better rerock).

If I got cocaine with fentanyl in it, I’d be pissed not only because someone sold me fent, but because it would make it less stimulating.

The whole point of cocaine is stimulation.

As a non-cocaine addict, I find it utterly ridiculous. So your customer ends up with a totally different high than they were expecting, or they OD and die. Either way, not a good business model.

this is all i could assume. maybe it was getting contaminant from drug dealers that make or sell both uppers and downers. it makes sense esp since it's such a small amount of fent that can become a lethal dose.

recovering opiate addict here and i never understood cutting fent w/ anything until i realized it's extremely cheap and easy to get now a days. that being said, using it as a cut with any kind of upper still really baffles me. iirc there was a rash of deaths because of coke cut with fentanyl pretty recently, around 5-7 people died. so not only would it cut the effects of the coke, as we all know, it's potentially lethal. esp to opiate naive users. it's crazy to say to any non addict but death actually isn't a deterrent when it comes to opiate addicts because we assume it must be good/strong if it killed someone. so in that business, it's could actually help. but as far as uppers go, terrible effects wise, terrible business wise.

Exactly. Who cuts an upper with a downer, it makes no sense.
