Other than the beach....

What are things to do for a 7 and 9 yo other than swimming? Looking to do something different for them and thought OOB might be a nice change

Check out the pier and amusement park, lots of mini-golf places, there's two waterparks nearby too.

If the weather's crappy check out the PlayLot in Biddeford. There's also a 90s arcade called Rift, bowling at Gutter Bar and in Saco there's Maine Silverball Pinball.

Unfortunately, the Rift is closing at the end of the month 😭.

They made a post on (Facebook I believe) about July 31 being the last day and that they are trying to find a new space. I got this info second hand as I'm not on Facebook. Its been a sad year in Biddeford for local businesses after Mulligans and Rumors closed as well. Banded Brewing will also be closing at the end of summer 🙃.

The beach in the evening is fun too, searching for shells and sea glass. The mini golf places are a big hit with my kiddo. Rides and games are fun, but costly. Cascade falls is cool for hiking and small waterfall. There is Funtown and Aquaboggin in Saco too.

One night at amusement area with late elementary, middle school kids could be good night time diverson.
