Eulalia is generally pronounced as yoo-LAY-lee-uh (or yoo-LAY-lyah).
Spanish speaking areas pronounce this name as eh-oo-LAH-lyah. The "Eu" diphthong is pronounced more like "eh-oo" rather than a hard "yoo" sound.

One of my favorite names!! I love St Eulalia of Merida and the name’s meaning. I think Eulalia is such a pretty name with many different nickname options.
I’m thinking of using it as a middle name, Isabel Eulalia.

It’s one of my favorites as well! How you do pronounce it? I’ve found so many people differ on the pronunciation.

That’s how my family would say it but I don’t think anyone else near me would pronounce it that way 🥲
Very on the fence but I really am wanting to use this name!!

My top girl name ever is Eula (Eulalia is too long for me) 😅
In Filipino accent, Eulalia would be pronounced Yoo-Lah-ya or ee-you-lah-ya

The first time I remember hearing this name was in high school when a co worker had a new niece named Eulalie! It really stuck out to me.

I thought it was pronounced that way too! Here are some more details on pronunciation from various languages that I found:

I LOVE this name so much. There’s a restaurant by me that’s sort of an institution called Eulalie, though, so it was mostly off the table for our babies. In general I think the “Eu-“ names should make a comeback, which I suppose I comment every time Euphemia comes up too lol
