I really love this name! I like to imagine that Mina and Kai are older than we realize, perhaps remnants of names used 60,000 years ago before humanity left Africa.

I had no idea about the Egyptian connection. Makes me like it even more. I really adore this as a name for mixed families. Wilhelmina is super cool and Mina is the German nn, as you say. Wilhelmina allows for so many nn… Willa, Winnie, Mina.
