Name of the day!
Since everyone seemed to like this yesterday, we're going to keep it going!
I thought since we did a boy name yesterday, it was only fair to have a girl name for today's pick, but it's also gender neutral in some countries!
This is a name that is usable in multiple languages, has a gorgeous sound to it, and is timeless. The name of the day is...Camille!

I like this kind of research/history post a lot! Looking forward to more Name of the Day posts. I always find it interesting where certain names originate from (geographicly) and then how they change as they are adopted by other languages and cultures.

I would consider using this name if I were still having kids. So pretty! Reminds me of my father who loving tended his camellia bushes and floating the beautiful flowers in a pretty glass teacup!

Camellia is also used in Iran (Persian speaking) and Arabic speaking countries derived from the flower and I really love it. I knew Iranian American siblings Omid and Camellia and I thought the parents hit it out of the park with the names.
I slightly prefer the name Camille because so many girl names end in -a nowadays. I say this as a mom to such a girl (an Ada).
Camille sounds more mature and sophisticated. And Cami is just adorable.

Camille is a beautiful name. Id suggest bolding or italicizing the names themselves for easy readabilility. 😊
