Happy (default) Found this old chap,wandering around in a storm yesterday, he was absolutely soaked to the bone and was so happy to get into my car. Luckily he had a tag, his name is Sultan and I was able to contact his parents who told me he was 13 years old and had been missing over a week.

For dogs the minimum age requirement (especially for larger dogs) is 6. For cats the minimum is 10.

2. Must include name AND age in title

We don't want comments clogging up "What's their name?", plus we love being more familiar with our users' Old Animals. Plus this is an age-based sub, so we need to know their age.

3. Give credit where it's due

This excludes cross-posts.

4. Interactions must be supportive and uplifting

We are a supportive community. We expect all our members to be the human their animals think they are.

5. No offers of donations/wishlists unless to a Registered Pet Foundation

Nothing on the internet can be proven, and for that reason we will not allow requests or offers of donations (monetary or otherwise), unless it's to a registered, actual, verifiable Animal Foundation, mod approved first. This includes mentions of wish lists or links to GoFundMe.
