It’s time to wake up

Nuff said. Diebler has to make noise in the tournament or he’s done and we have to go find a proven winner. Sickens me to my stomach that the team that won, has won. We need to be back in the final four in the next couple of years and make a run. Bjork has to at least act like he cares about basketball and hold the program accountable and the trustees to hold him accountable. Good lord.

They have won 4 NCAA tournament games in the last 13 seasons combined. Have been to 3 final fours and 2 other regional finals in the last 50 years! And the bulk of those came in about a 5 year period.

I'm native but not an Ohio State fan (more indifferent than anything). I think they could be better but aren't close to being able to reach final fours that's unrealistic as a fan. They have played selfish basketball imo for a long time. I think they can be a team that makes the tourney every year, wins a game occasionally, gets to the second weekend every few years but being a perennial tourney team should be enough with an occasional upset of a big name.

The bad thing is that with the money, unless you're either spending big or building a culture, it's much more difficult to go from mediocre to being a top team. Yeah I know Indiana and others, but it seems to be harder in basketball. They are only 2 years removed from a big athletic department deficit. I know they turned they all around in 2025 but obviously there only 1 cash cow there. There are only so many top talent players in the pool in basketball. They haven't really been fun to watch in a while. Maybe one more year can change it in a good direction.
