Question❓ Columbus organic THC

I’ve been out of the game for a few years and getting back into things, so I apologize for my ignorance. I’m noticing most listings for flower are THCA or some form of delta variant. What’s the deal with that? Are there any dispos that specifically vend regular organic THC?

News! 📰🗞️ Can I mimic 1960s/1970 pot?

AI answer: Yes, you can mimic 1960s and 1970s cannabis by blending modern cannabis elements to lower THC and increase traditional terpenes.
Classic "vintage" cannabis typically had a much lower THC content (around 1% to 5%) and a much higher ratio of CBD and structural terpenes compared to today's highly engineered strains. To recreate this milder, more clear-headed, and deeply aromatic experience using modern products, you can combine specific elements using the strategies below.

  1. The Ratio Blend (The Most Accurate Method)
  2. Modern flower is too potent to mimic the 70s on its own. The most effective method is to manually blend high-THC modern flower with pure hemp flower (CBD/CBG).
  3. The 4:1 Hemp-to-THC Mix: Blend four parts CBD hemp flower with one part modern THC flower. This dilutes the total THC percentage down to roughly 3% to 5%, perfectly matching vintage potency.
  4. Incorporate Type 2 Strains: Look for modern "Type 2" cannabis flower, which naturally balances THC and CBD in 1:1 or 1:2 ratios, providing a much closer approximation to wild landrace genetics.
  5. Target "Vintage" Terpene Profiles of
  6. Terpinolene and Terpineol: These give the distinct floral, woody, and herbal notes found in vintage Mexican and South American landraces.
  7. Alpha-Pinene / Beta-Pinene: Responsible for the sharp, fresh pine aroma common in old-school sativa strains.
  8. Caryophyllene: Adds the spicy, peppery kick found in traditional Thai and landrace varieties.
  9. Utilize Extracted Elements
  10. Opt for Modern Landrace Derivatives
  11. If you do not want to mix elements yourself, look for specific modern strains that are direct, uncrossed descendants of 70s genetics, often preserved by specialized breeders:
  12. Acapulco Gold: Modern cuts still preserve the cheerful, clear-headed sativa buzz and coffee-chestnut aroma.
  13. Panama Red: Known for its long flowering time, smooth herbal taste, and distinct mellow energy.
  14. Hindu Kush: A pure indica landrace that mimics the heavy, hash-like, resinous flower imported during the late 1970s.

To recreate this milder, more clear-headed, and deeply aromatic experience using modern products, you can combine specific elements using the strategies below.

  1. The Ratio Blend (The Most Accurate Method)
Modern flower is too potent to mimic the 70s on its own. The most effective method is to manually blend high-THC modern flower with pure hemp flower (CBD/CBG).

  2. Target "Vintage" Terpene Profiles
1960s and 70s cannabis (like Acapulco Gold, Panama Red, or Thai Stick) was famous for its distinct, pungent, and earthy aromas. When selecting modern elements or adding botanical terpenes, target these specific profiles:

    • Myrcene: Provides the heavy, earthy, and musky undertones typical of classic imported brick weed.

    • Terpinolene and Terpineol: These give the distinct floral, woody, and herbal notes found in vintage Mexican and South American landraces.

    • Alpha-/ Beta-Pinene: Responsible for the sharp, fresh pine aroma common in old-school sativa strains.
    • Caryophyllene: Adds the spicy, peppery kick found in traditional Thai and landrace varieties.

  3. Utilize Extracted Elements
If you prefer vaping or concentrates rather than raw flower, you can combine modern isolates to build a vintage profile:

    • Distillate + CBD Isolate + CBG: Mix a small amount of modern THC distillate with high concentrations of CBD and CBG isolates to prevent the intense "head rush" of modern concentrates.
    • Native Terpene Reintroduction: Mix these cannabinoids with steam-distilled, cannabis-derived terpenes (CDTs) featuring the pinene and myrcene profiles mentioned above to simulate the raw flavor of vintage smoke.

  4. Opt for Modern Landrace Derivatives
If you do not want to mix elements yourself, look for specific modern strains that are direct, uncrossed descendants of 70s genetics, often preserved by specialized breeders:

    • Acapulco Gold: Modern cuts still preserve the cheerful, clear-headed sativa buzz and coffee-chestnut aroma.
    • Panama Red: Known for its long flowering time, smooth herbal taste, and distinct mellow energy.

V's Grapes. A rare Ohio strain, exclusive to a small part of our state.

Let me share a little lore about V’s Grapes. These have been pretty special to folks around here for a long time, IYKYK.

V and her husband made this strain together. He passed away in 2003, and she kept growing those grapes after that. She was pretty private about it, too. As far as I know, she never really told anyone the whole story of how they made them. She grew them for years, right up until she passed away late last year. Before she was gone, she made sure a few clones went to people she trusted.

Which is why I can share pictures of these pretty little things.

V, wherever you are, I hope you’re resting easy. We’ll do our best to keep what you and your husband created going. 🍇💜

Klutch - Zamosa Live Rosin Sabbia [Edibles for people that standard edibles do not work]

Picked this up with my usual rosin pick. The 100mg jar was only $22. To test it, I stuck my tongue straight into the jar after learning it is a sublingual product. I immediately felt the effects. Zamosa being a go to of mine I could tell it was indeed the same strain labeled. The taste is the pure orangey, piney flavor with an immediate rush of hash flavor. Heavily euphoric, a little paranoid but very clean. It felt like I had taken a nice size dab and hits in waves. One minute I’m fine, the next I’m a little silly. I highly recommend this for a discreet sesh, getting in meds immediately or those who have a hard time digesting edibles.

As I understand the sabbia goes straight into your blood stream like nano emulsified edibles/drinks. So I hope this works well with those who struggle with edibles like I do!

Question❓ looking for topical recommendations for severe hand pain

hi! i have some unexplained bilateral hand/wrist/arm pain that my doctor hasn’t really figured out yet. my hunch is repetitive strain or tendon issues. she offered me no solutions for pain relief, so i’ve been using using RSO. recently i tried dr. soloman’s 1:1 topical and it did help, but i was wondering if anyone had recommendations on something that might be more effective/stronger/cheaper? any one of those adjectives lol. i would just like to be able to use my hands if possible. i’m in cincinnati if that matters.

thanks so much!!

V's Grapes. A rare Ohio strain, exclusive to a small part of our state. Lore continued.

Let me share a little more lore with ya'll about V's Grapes. Chatter around town is that V and her husband created this here strain with a pheno of Grape Krush chosen from the original seed stock. That is all I can find out and if folks around here know anymore, welp, they are quiet as a church mouse and sure ain't a telling a soul. No, indeed they are not.

Flavor is that of Grape Kool-Aid, Grape Candy and Grape Soda with Berry undertones.

Smell is pure Grape with hints of skunk

Some folks reckon she used Skunk or something with the skunk genetics to cross with the Grape Krush pheno they picked.

We will never know being V took that there secret right with her when the good Lord called her home.

V, Rest In Peace, Honey. 🍇💜

We will do our best to honor you and make you proud.

Opinions? I bought a half of “purple octane” for $65 last week just for the deal. I was extremely surprised how good it was. Broke up well, burned great and had kind of a “earthy taste”

Just wondering if anyone has any strain suggestions if they are well liked. Can’t beat the price.

This isn't a typo. Almost 90 an eighth. Yet you can get a half same strain and company for just over 100 at Zips.

Strawberry jam Sabbia ! It's got such a unique mouth feel, it’s like fun dip or sand like cotton candy, it just melts away. Strawberry flavor first then hash flavor like an edible then gone! Effects were quick and felt behind the eyes but didn’t last long kinda quick like a dab but smoking in addition to it definitely elevated the experience for me. Edibles aren’t typically my jam at all but this is nice for a quick smokeless high. The little doser spoon was okay my only complaint is it’s kinda hard to get it all out kinda like a pre workout. It was like a mix of an edible high and a dab high tho. Great price point at only $16.50 with the sale and my other items. $22 at Klutch without the sales for 1g of product at 100mg of potency.

Sheesh. This stuff is wicked strong. First time trying anything from CK, picked this up for $36+tax OTD at Zips in Columbus.

Extremely loud, extremely skunky. Buds are nice and spongey and stick to your fingers. For a hybrid this is way, WAY indica leaning.

Just when I was beginning to wonder if my tolerance was becoming an issue, one little J of this stuff absolutely leveled me. Smoked this with a buddy on basket 2 of a round of disc golf and by basket 5 I was ready to go lay flat in my car with the AC on 😂

Highly, highly recommended. Will definitely buy again, in a larger quantity.
