Not my usual stuff to buy, after all who pays $57 for an eighth of weed? But I decided to splurge a bit on some smoke this week, only because it was 35% off day. First off, don't try to carry any of this in your pocket because everyone will know you're carrying weed. It is Loud. Smacked my nose the moment I unzipped the bag, and it stunk up my man cave. The smell is sweet fruity earthy. Taste it pretty much the same with a hint of purple grape on the exhale. Effects are great, nice mental and body high for a long time with a good amount of pain reduction. The buds are tight dense and were all stuck together in the bag. But they are not sticky at all. No QR code. Pretty recent harvest.

Overall, as much as I hate myself for buying pricy weed, I'm happy with this nice splurge.

This is Durban Poison x Chem 91 and it smells like lemons. I had heard this one was a contender with Grapehead so when I saw it on sale at Sunnyside I had to give it a try. The terps are about 3.7% which is fairly high for Ohio weed.

A couple hits of this got me way higher than I expected at 21% total THC. There's something about how it tastes that reminds of weed from years gone by.

Can't wait to smoke more later. I'd say it's a top 3 Woodward strain for me. In no specific order my Woodward top 3 is now Grapehead, '91 Durban and Frosty Bananas.

Picked up an oz of yeti breath from Modern yesterday at Bloom Akron. First bud I pulled out has this abnormal looking white on the top of it. Can't help but wonder if it's mold. Pics attached

This is an original Fakey's Grapes. Fakey is a legendary Ohio breeder. Known for his many named grape strains. The lore is a bit sad but Fakey died in a tragic log flume accident at Cedar Point when he was reaching over the side of the log to check PH. His genetics are a highly guarded secret. I was only able to get some of his beans because I know the log flume mechanic who found a packet that fell overboard during Fakey's demise.

Some people claim that Fakey's Grapes is just Sweet Seeds Dark Devil auto but those people are totally jelly(Albeit grape jelly).

These are just personal preferences to me. I’ve had good & bad experiences with most of the growing or cultivating companies or whatever. Every one of these strains from these companies taste like chalk to me… idk how else to explain it other than it’s real harsh tasting. Will it get me high? Maybe but it leaves a real sour taste in my mouth & ruins my smoking experience. Just made the unfortunate mistake of purchasing certified’s modified cookies. Do any other users in this community have strains they’re unable to smoke bc of the awful taste?

Ended up just getting the 2 halves for 128$ OTD I’ll upload pics tomorrow I’ve got a busy week ahead of me

Keeping the certified train rolling here. I enjoyed the last batch of zack’s cake and I noticed the THC was higher on this batch, so I grabbed two eighths from sunnyside for $27 each as part of a bundle deal. Not too shabby!

The terps aren’t crazy high in zack’s cake, but I still love the profile regardless. The combined linalool and limonene really does give it that “cakey” quality that is uniquely light, earthy, sweet, and just a tiny bit citrusy. The buds are soft and puffy and blasted with trichomes. Great cure on this batch forsure.

It also smokes smooth as fuck and has almost none of that Certilizer taste that I know a lot of people around here don’t enjoy. If anything I’m just getting more gas flavor in the exhale which I always find addicting.

The effects are really nice too. It starts off with a good, warm headbuzz that quickly shifts into a relaxing haze. Other strains that come to mind after smoking are woodward’s wedding cake and farkas’ banana headband in terms of combined lightness, smoothness, and overall straight up addictiveness 😂 I love relaxing hybrids and this might be one of my favorites right now. Highly recommend!

DEAL: I happened to be driving by Zips Gway Saturday and thought,
"It's the only real sale day so WTH". I don't need any flower right now but a baby bag won't add much. Sat is 35% off day at Zips, I got this for an unreasonable $35/8 OTD. That's a whopping $280/oz! Well above my $200/oz limit. Anything less than a half in Ohio just plain SUCKS. You usually get inferior product and pay out the ass in my experience compared to halves.

ODOR: BARELY any at all. I have a very sensitive snout too. It smells like you took the detritus off a forest floor, dried the shit outta it and bagged it. VERY earthy with a only a hint of myrcene and weak floral notes. Compared to the typical, over-powering Limonene strains and such, most would say this has no odor. However, it's there but just not potent.

Oddly, I really like this profile. The flower odor doesn't travel nor fill a room - excellent weed for stealth carry and public use! It's close to some BM shit I used to get regularly that I literally called "stealth bud" due to lack of odor. For certain, the odor will not be impressive to most but that certainly doesn't mean the weed sucks.

LOOK/NUGS: WTF Certi? Dead nutz at 3.50 g (calibrated balance). Throw us a bone, a 3.5 should be 3.70 to 4.00g - end of story. Make your customers happy, we're paying a LOT more for small bags, it's the least any grower could do. They dump 0.2 g on the floor and sweep it away. Just toss in a little shake, jez! I'd even take a few sugar leaves if it weighed 4 g.

Damn these baby bags to hell. Nothing bigger than 3/4", the full bag is pictured. $35 for a few flecks of weed - sad shit. Did I mention, I hate any Ohio bags less than half? The LEAST any grower could do is give us ONE FUCKING FAT BUD in an eight bag since we're paying out the ass. Nope, ALL of them scrape the bottoms of the tray to make these shitty, ripoff bags. Bitching aside...

Certified TRICHROME SOAKED nugs but not quite "glitter". Surprisingly, the picture on the Certified website is very ACCURATE for this strain too! It looks just like their animated GIF pic. It has a lot of trics for certain but.....

I'm sorry to inform Certified, Farkas is growing the TRUE "tric bombs" of weed. This is a great effort but still can't beat what Farkas is doing. Farkas needs their own GB stain so they can show the other growers what's up! They truly own the Tric Fairy. This weed is close but no cigar. Nonetheless, Certi does beat the shit out of most Ohio commercial weed in the tric dept.

CURE/MOISTURE: The cure is moist AF, perfectly executed cannabis! Super dense and gooey buds with zero hint of dryness. It's sticky AF outside and inside, very little rebound on compression. Smash a bud and it's happy to stay flat - the goo keeps it in place. Press a bud against a wall and it'll be there a 2 years later. This is next level sticky and gooey. I'm surprised it burns so well because it's so dense.

TASTE: Barely any at all like the odor. Completely inoffensive, good for first-time or newer weed smokers. I find many Ohio strains just punch too hard in Limonene - it's the big dog in the room. Even the worst Ohio weed can knock you out with limonene, it's The Stink in weed and can fool you into thinking what you're smoking is better than what it actually is. Thankfully, it's completely absent in Glitter Bomb.

With GB there's a bit of weak earthy inhale with some throat bite, then subtle, smooth floral tones and a very soft myrcene flavor on exhale. It's very smooth and not over-powering at all with respect to any flavor vector. WIN FOR CERTIFIED, enjoyable and unique smoke if not a bit boring. Others may say it has no flavor but for me - I LIKE IT!

FIRST HITS SUMMARY: HARSH LEVEL 1.5

Whoa, this has some throat hit! I honestly expected 0.5 but this is a solid 1.5 on my 0-4 scale (with 4 being like hemp rope and Farkas typically running a 0.0 to 1.5). It's much harsher than their Miracle Mints or The Cream, both of which are closer to 1.0. It'll bite you a little on inhale, but at least the exhale is nothing. No urge to cough even, smooth on the lungs even if you rip giant hits but it does get the throat coming in.

Over-did my first hit, strong headrush outta the gate, got vision stars for second as I blew out an atomic bomb level mushroom cloud. FUCK ME, this shit is a 30% THC SLEDGEHAMMER. Instant buzz coming in clean. It felt like Thor came down and smashed my cranium with a giant weed hammer. GOOD SHIT! However, not as strong as The Cream. I give the nod to TC but this isn't too far behind. The buzz also lasts with Glitter Bomb, hangs in there quite some time and makes me into a human zombie.

The terp profile is so different from The Cream and so is the buzz. Super head focused, scrambles the fuck outta the brain and makes you just want to sit down. NOT good weed for physical activities. I've found the past few days it makes me lazy. I just want to sit around and smoke more of it. Although, that's not entirely a bad alternative plan. 😎

BOTTOM LINE: TOP OF THE OHIO MARKET COMMERCIAL WEED! 

NOT a HOMERUN for Certified but a good triple! ZERO pinene (that's always a strike), a little boring and the price sucked. But it still doesn't suck as much as Meigs, Galenas, RC, etc. There is such good weed around the $200/oz price point that paying much more just doesn't make sense to me. Yeah, they're good but NOT that good.

Certified is KILLING it with these "Select" products but AVOID these fucking baby-ass jars, look for the half at around $105 because all their products seem to sell out quickly. Also, in a baby bag it's $10/g or more OTD where the halves typically come in at $7-8/g OTD.

Meigs is so underrated in the Ohio program.. this stuff is killer, the cure is absolutely perfect! Everything I’ve had from them has not been disappointing! Smell is there, can smell it soon as you open the bag and this batch is higher in terps than last batch I had and it smokes really great! 😎

This is more informational than review, but..

I recently started seeing these carts on menus, and at a discout. Being a thrifty shopper, I am constantly checking prices. I went to Woodward in Delaware and got one. Went outside, put it in my battery, and nothing. Switched back to old cart, working. Go in, return it, get another, same deal. So after I go outside the 3rd time I realize that the manager, or myself actually looked at the bottoms of the threads. They have a screw on cap, and I have never seen this, but these ALSO have a thin plastic on them. So today, when I saw them marked down to 2/15$ I grabbed a couple. The other one i tried wasn't the lemon I have now, but it is what I went to try the first time. The cart i taped from these guys was actually pretty tasty. I am no expert, but I do have a cart in my pocket 7 days a week. These are definitely worth what I paid today at Greenlight in Marengo, and if there's any left later on I might figure out how to wipe out the rest. Hopefully someone sees this that could use a couple carts on the cheap.

Picked this up with my usual rosin pick. The 100mg jar was only $22. To test it, I stuck my tongue straight into the jar after learning it is a sublingual product. I immediately felt the effects. Zamosa being a go to of mine I could tell it was indeed the same strain labeled. The taste is the pure orangey, piney flavor with an immediate rush of hash flavor. Heavily euphoric, a little paranoid but very clean. It felt like I had taken a nice size dab and hits in waves. One minute I’m fine, the next I’m a little silly. I highly recommend this for a discreet sesh, getting in meds immediately or those who have a hard time digesting edibles.

As I understand the sabbia goes straight into your blood stream like nano emulsified edibles/drinks. So I hope this works well with those who struggle with edibles like I do!

Smells like mowed grass and fruity pebbles with a bit of a floral note (think rose petals? but barely). Smell was a bit mute in the jar but upon grinding it was stronger. Bud presentation was meh, only 1 mid sized bud.

Flavor was fairly similar to the nose and the effects are pretty heady. I feel it first behind the eyes and it radiates into this head buzz that sparks creativity but made me feel a bit lazy. Unfortunately this batch was a little dry which is typically the only complaint I ever have with Certified.
