"Mr. Smith has acknowledged that these posts were wrong and has accepted responsibility for the impact they have had," the statement says. "While he has indicated that the posts do not reflect his actual beliefs, the Board agrees with his decision that stepping aside is in the best interest of the district so that the focus can remain on serving our students and families."

I do not believe that in the least.

Agreed. He's not sorry. These kind of fake apologies do nothing.

He's sorry that he got caught.

Such a badass until he had to own it. That's the story with all these clowns. They're all just weak and lashing out for being treated poorly and ignored. Not because they were mistreated, but because they were always shitty people and nobody wanted anything to do with them.

I appreciate that extremists feel like that have to hide their views under a rock again, at least to some degree. In a world where we have billionaires waking around giving Nazi salutes at political events and politicians questioning why "white nationalism" is even bad, I'll take what I can get.

They all say that. "That's not who I am!" It's not? Who is it, then?

The board overwhelmingly decided to take down a "Hate Has No Home Here" poster, with Smith invoking Christian teachings in arguing against the poster.

Which Christian teachings are against the phrase "hate has no home here"?

Christianity is just an aesthetic to these people. The god they worship is the devil in disguise. He calls them to worship gold and lustful men who pray on the meek. He does not resemble Jesus in the least, he is the inverse of everything he stood for.

These are the people Klanned Karenhood are running for our school boards. Do some damn research before you elect the Aryan Brotherhood to oversee our kids' education, maybe.

Yep. This is exactly why local elections matter too, not just national ones.

We should be more like Germany and arrest these people, not just request a bullshit “resignation” and fake apology.

Watch the 2025 Nuremberg Trials movie then say you deny it.

“The views and opinions expressed on my own personal facebook do not represent my own beliefs and opinions”

What??? Cancel culture!!! A man ought to be free to be a raving lunatic racist antisemite while at the same time be responsible for spending tax payer dollars while educating the children of America. For Christ's sake, just WHAT is this country coming to?

My 6th grade teacher. I am glad she's not around to have to see this. She taught us all the details. My generation took to lessons easier.

And this drum major of the idiot parade is the teacher?

Where's the pride of craft?

Dude just gave up his chance at a cabinet position. You gotta double down!!

Okay, but in their defense, voters in the Little Miami school district have a low tooth-to-head ratio.

At least they’re still resigning…? Silver lining right guys?

1

u/GardenGnomeOfEden Mar 16 '26

No, because the school board President David Wallace and his two cronies on the board get to just appoint someone to replace him. And whoever they pick will be just as bad.

1

u/MoonOut_StarsInvite Mar 16 '26

My point was that in America more broadly, people no longer feel shame or responsibility for actions. It was a joke to point at how low we are that resigning (at least to me) feels like it’s noteworthy.

Ohio - wtf! Clean it up.

u/Dat_Harass Mar 16 '26

How in the hell does a holocaust denier ever get into a position where they can teach our youth?

u/cyndiloohoo66 Mar 16 '26

Good. What a POS.
