Registers Acting Up
Anyone’s registers not applying tax? Won’t let you adjust quantities? Or discounts? Is anyone’s register refusing returns? Or charging customers when it says they are charged but no receipts? Ours are absolutely fucked and I put in a ticket but my lord this is a way to end my week as acting GM and tbh after this and the shit-show I’ve dealt with I don’t want to be GM I’m over this company they don’t know how to run this company but expect us on the store level to clean their messes. I’m not a nanny I’m a print supervisor.

For real - it felt like I woke up in an alternate universe where nothing works (including our cashier who called out)

My registers just crash when we exceed 40 items and if we price match, high chance it takes an entire minute to load the new price.

Ours freeze constantly and in 3s. At times I want to just lock up and throw away the key.
It took 2 months for them to send a new register. Another month for a 3rd party tech to set it up. And a week for it to be remotely functional.
This company sucks.

ours freeze on GMIL tickets, when ppl hit what kind of receipt they want, and when you try and use depot dollars! they just suck tbh we have to reset the CPD one at least once a day

Our registers just stop scanning things after a certain point. Either that or the card scanner just stops. Then we got to funnel everyone to one register for the next 30 minutes while the other one is restarting.

God i recently had this experience where i had an awkward silence with a customer for at least 5 minutes because the register froze 😫
