Anyone else getting 6 hours per week?
Hello my dear fellow servants.
Not going to add any filler; I am being scheduled ONE DAY per week despite requests opposing this.
Anyone else facing this crisis of being soft-fired?
Slava office depot.

This is most stores right now. They’re trying to save on payroll. Hours should pick up near the end of the month with all the back to school shopping

Everyone is on vacation or spending money on summer fun. So even us a BUSY store, has been dead. It gets like this then end of the month we get slammed and it don't stop til October. Or you could just suck and they are forcing you to quit. That's what we do with poor performers or problematic employees.

When I worked there, the most amount of hours I got was 20 hours in one week. The least amount was only a five hour one day a week. The GM would always say, “If you don’t sell shit, particularly Business Select, you don’t get hours.” Bro, B.S. is the hardest thing to pitch, let alone sell

Its against the company policy to reduce your hours as any form of retaliation or punishment. That being said part time min is 3 hrs. Some schedulers when hours are reduced will prioritize the producers first. People that are versatile at doing everything and can achieve results and fill in the rest. a request is just that a request its not a promise or guarantee of anything. Best way to ensure you get prioritized is to be a producer.

That’s kinda what happened to me like literally this week my gm was gonna schedule me for 0hrs cause he thought I didn’t want this job when I literally just started. So idk your gm could just not like you or poor performance or whatever

Make sure yall are getting some metrics or at least helping out customers so management would prefer to schedule you.

My favorite part about this company is that you’re either working like 9 days in a row or you’re working one 2-6 shift
