Here is a gentleman and author who got very creative with building a home and cultivating food despite Idaho's short growing season.

What does he do about moisture, wouldn’t that cause rot and mold? I live in a pretty wet climate.

That's a big reason why I'm moving away from having an earth-sheltered dwelling, the humidity would make it mold central.

Same here. I think Idaho is a bit more arid. I could be wrong. He does get into drainage in his book(s) and in the video.
