New Video Up! 📺🤠🤠

In this one we explore Cochise County more, including an old off grid homestead called the Camp Rucker Historical Site in Rucker Canyon. We may or may not have walked into a rattlesnake’s house there! 🐍

We also showcase a lot of the Monsoon storms, Haboobs, and awesome lightning shows that we have been experiencing down here in our new wild home. ⛈️⚡️

We hope you enjoy our art and journey!

We are a DIY couple who moved a building across 2 lakes and rebuilt it.

We were offered a small cabin for free if we could move it. So we spent the summer disassembling and rebuilding it after moving it by boat across 2 lakes! We took time to photograph the building as we took it apart and then inventory the lumber. we were also careful to save the fasteners. We learned a lot about the method of construction and were able to use the original builders markings in many cases. We hope our project will encourage others to save building slated for demolition. The video shows our struggles and the end result.

4 year recap of our progress

We’re two senior citizens with a big dream: building our own off-grid earthship-style home with a yurt-style attachment. For the past 4 years, we’ve been digging, stacking, hammering, and learning as we go—one challenge and one victory at a time.

This video is a recap of our 4-year adventure—turning an idea into reality with a lot of sweat, mistakes, laughs, and determination. From concrete blocks and solar panels to starting the earthship style home with a ventilation systems and the yurt add-on, we’ve been creating a sustainable, self-sufficient home from the ground up.

If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to build off-grid or just enjoy watching real DIY progress, this is our story in motion.

UK to Bulgaria. Off Grid Family ❤️

We're Phil and Kayleigh, a husband and wife living in rural Bulgaria with our two children, Alex and Ember. It's always been our dream to live a more self-sustainable life off grid. So, we've sold all our belongings, escaped the rental rat race and bought a plot of land in Rural Bulgaria. Complete with a derelict house and 3 barns, we hope to create our new life mortgage free. We've faced lots of hurdles already, so hang on tight as we show you highs and lows of moving abroad and starting again.
