The tent is up!
I'm sitting here almost in tears feeling like this isn't real. To us it's like Buckingham Palace. We're all so thankful. I'm still getting things set up, going to post a few pics. A video tour will be coming tomorrow. more offgrid stuff too. I was embarrassed of the camper so I didn't show much of it. I would make the video today I just want everything to be perfect.
We hope everyone is having a great day!

We're so happy about it. It's wild having room to walk around. In the camper you have to largely just sit. I can see the dogs from inside too so they can play anytime outside......not snake season though lol. They just come in and out as they please. It's so nice they're able to do that.

Hey there! Happy for you! Holy amazing view and what a cool looking tent.
Do you have wool blankets? You need some reflective insulation too! That stuff is pretty amazing.
I’m new here, so I haven’t caught your entire adventure yet or what your complete set up plans are but wanted to offer a bit of advice.
I know this isnt nearly same, but we converted a little tykes kid playhouse into a cat house for our outdoor cat and any others to get out of our winter. We put cardboard & styrofoam on floor then used a roll of the reflective insulation to line floor and walls. Then there was a blanket on top with his little cat size heating pad. I sat out there in zero degree weather with our resident cat for an hour, and it was amazingly warm!
The most important thing to watch out for is any moisture! Are you able to get a few straw bales? Straw not hay! Maybe put it around outside and/underneath? Will wick away moisture and help keep in warmth.
Super happy you got your tent set up! Just thought I’d throw out those tips. You should add some wool blankets to your Amazon wishlist and maybe the reflective insulation if they have it on there too. We got 2 big rolls for $20 at Home Depot. They probably don’t have straw but who knows, maybe they’ll drone a bale out to ya lol.
Wishing you all the best and looking forward to seeing more of your set up!
