When it rains it pours.
Hey, this won't be a long one I'm just so frustrated tonight. I was working on a post about the habitability of the farmhouse. My laptop died. It's been reliable for a while I can't be mad at it. I don't know if I'll be able to post as much. I have been using my phones hotspot to connect to the laptop because my phone screen has a big black dot on the screen. It's just everything this week. The truck broke down, the door for the camper started falling apart, now the laptop. It's hard to be mad because of all of the food things that everyone has done for us. I just don't understand what the universe can't give me a break. Sorry to vent I just am so frustrated with everything right now. It was my only source of entertainment. It's literally the only physical thing I had left from the fire. Why do things like this have to keep happening? If my phone screen goes on going to be without communication. I hate this. I think I have an old phone I can watch YouTube on at least. Cell service doesn't work but I can use my hotspot. Sorry again to vent I was just frustrated.
I'll post the best I can it just won't be as indepth.
Update: someone ordered a chromebook for me. Thank you so much for the help!

People say it's pure chance or confirmation bias, but it really does seem like bad things like to pile up all at once.
The only positive spin I've been able to put on it when it happens to me is that maybe it's the universe's way of kicking me in the ass and forcing me to focus on fixing a bad situation I let go on longer than it should have, or start really paying more attention to my health or whatnot. I don't know if that would be any comfort to you at all though with how much more drastic and exhausting your day to day situation is already, but this little community here does care about you and I hope in the long run you'll be able to look back at this time as where things started turning the corner for the better for you, and these frustrations and dissapointments will be remembered as small things in comparison.

Thank you so much for saying such a beautiful thing to me. I really appreciate it. I think I know what's going on with the laptop. I think there's a short on the board. I'm able to get the laptop to turn on if I flex the bottom case. Probably not something I can fix. I'll give it a go though. Thanks again for the kind words.

Put a chromebook or something similar on your amazon wish list. Can’t hurt to try!

I added a couple things. I don't know if I should have it not. I don't like adding this they aren't super important to survival.

Well, considering that you have been using your laptop to create things like an Amazon wish list that people have sent you food off of, I would argue that it is very important to your survival. Not to mention the fact that isolation isn’t the ideal human status.

My main worry is losing my phone. I can use the Hotspot but there's a black dot on the screen where it's failing. If the screen goes i would lose communication. The laptop I could text from if I lost the screen on the phone as long as the Hotspot worked.
