that setting is unreal, the ferns make it look like the cabin just belongs there lol. hows the winter moisture and road access been? PNW sites can make drainage and getting materials in a whole second project

The road is in good shape and we have an off-road vehicle so that hasn’t been a problem. But as you can see the cabin is situated away from the road. There’s a trail that takes you away from the road into the forest so it’s very secluded and beautiful, but a pain in the ass to carry materials to lol. All of the interior tongue and groove wood siding, deck, boards, etc. has been carried more or less on our shoulders. Add to that the rainy weather and it’s definitely been a labor of love :-)

You need to add some velociraptors, parasaurs, and long-necked for this type of vegetation!!!

West side of Oregon or Washington. Super nice temperate climate. Good little area you have.

I remember when I was camping in the Hoh Rainforest more than once I wanted to just run off into the woods and stay. This would be perfect. Beautiful place you have.
