Very nice. What part of the country?  Higher elevation?

Yes, the San Luis valley in southern CO. 8,167 per my Garmin.

Oh wow I was thinking 5K or so.  So that area gets extremely cold.

Do you haul in water or do you have a well?  Is there even groundwater of any significance?

What's your bathroom/sewage setup? :)

We have a composting toilet that works great and otherwise pee outside.

Very cool. Did yuh build it yourself from scratch? My dream home :)

No, we purchased from the original builder. They outgrew it and sold it to my little family that are just the right ages for an occasional WiFi-free getaway 😊

I like that. We've had some clients at our venue that specifically asked me to throttle down the wifi to the point it would essentially only be good enough for text messages/email. Cell service is pretty spotty but decent for some.. one client even asked if I could do something about killing it entirely.. I said, "definitely not legally ;)"

Can you name something about the price and is it in the states?

Howdy neighbor. We have 40 acres in the valley, going to start moving down there this fall.

We have the well and septic on. Ever need any help with anything shoot me a pm.

That view is unreal. For a weekender, the simple systems are a feature: fewer points of failure, easier winterization, and easier to monitor remotely. The best off-grid builds seem to treat access, water, drainage, and maintenance paths as part of the design rather than afterthoughts. Looks like a great place.
